How about some more freeride/slopestyle coverage? FEST, US Open, Nine Knights, etc. All these downcountry/ebike trends are pretty wack.

What’s in: sacking off the 11grand bikes, remembering what it’s all about, buying a 6yr old 26” DH rig and heading back to the local spot to jump some shit. And getting back into BMX.

LOL. This entire post shows how little you know about the sport and little time you've spent between the tape. I've been in the grey on the Richie/Graves thing the whole time. In fact, if anything, I've been super critical of Richie, mostly because his apology wasn't all that accountable. That said its 100% undeniable he's an incredibly gifted and talented bike handler with the grit and work ethic to back it up. There is no "system" of doping at Yeti. Among others, yeah. Now these female athletes need to be models and riders, it seems? I don't think it's just a cycling problem, of course. I mean, the cheesecake magazine spreads at least didn't put daily pressure on these athletes to organize photo shoots. Just an outsider's perspective, of course. In a sport where eating disorders aren't uncommon (thinking XC, male and female), I'm not sure the social media piece is entirely healthy.

Oh, come on. We're taking about something that's not a function of the core job duties, and pretty far afield at that. Closing the books is what accountants live for and work all year toward. I'm particularly concerned about women who may feel pressure to post particular types of content. That seems unnecessary.

Sofia Gomez Villafane off Pivot/Stans XC. She had some good results domestically last year, will be interesting to see what’s next going into the Olympic year. I’m not sure what the selection process is for Argentina but I think she is probably a sure pick. Re: The fmd Insta post - I didn’t read that as royal racing but as British royalty, hence Peaty.

I find it interesting that it has gone to this so quickly. 29ers really only had 1 season where they were largely adopted by most/some of the riders. The fact that they are already trying to change the wheel size again makes me think that the whole 29 thing for DH isn't optimal. IMO, 27.5 is a good happy medium and I wish 29 would die a quick death . It really increases cost of goods due to market size. The riders that have recently done well on the 297.5 or whatever the hell they are calling it, would have...
