In Luca Shaw’s latest Instagram post you can see a very shiny silver brake caliper on his bike. Not current m820 and looks too polished to be 9120. More new stuff imminent

Didn’t see it mentioned anywhere as to whether the hubs are borrowed tech from sram (x.0, 900) hubs or something different. To say Zipp has been making underwhelming hubs for the last decade would be a hilarious understatement

Zipp enters MTB world as predicted, spotted on JC and ropelatos bikes amongst others. Basically a mass market version of what Bouwmeester was doing in Australia until he joined Crank Bros.

You're totally right about that, why I was wondering what the level of UCI presence or integration was this weekend. Most UCI races are also local federation races. With EWS, it's a little more confusing for me as to who does what. For example here in ... more »

Pretty sure that upper shock is fake. Been looking at these photos (on my phone so not the best) for a minute and the coil spacing is the same in every shot, no sign of compression in any of them. It also seems like the rear is mostly unloaded in every ... more »

Ah I see I missed that thought. Testing is going to be a lot less taboo in enduro now though. I was trying to find good #’s but the best I could find is that in 2017, federations, organizations, and etc. that use accredited WADA labs conducted 1896 in ... more »

Having your photo taken doesn’t imply guilt. Testing is normal in uci events.

Just reading this thread now, bmoc is on point with his time frame for the “shop” build bikes. 1hr would be a barely rideable bike. These bikes come in a box, levers and calipers are not connected, tires are off, bb is out, no cables are routed, fork ... more »

Spomer - Rotorua pit bits coming soon? Should be some new things on various bikes out there.

He’s still on the team, specifically said he wasn’t doing round 1 but didn’t say why.

The syndicate insta trolling was good but now that we have bots we know we’ve really made it!

There is a patent, can’t remember if it was fox or shimano, for a dropper that can be programmed for a pre loaded gps course. Should be even easier to implement on a shock or fork.

There’s a new trp DH brake, it’s called the DH-R, requires use of the 2.3mm rotor. Very code-esque caliper design. Still has same piston size and configuration. Think the levers are the same.

is the ohlins 20mm boost? There looks to be a red spacer behind the front rotor.

Pretty much called this back in December when fox and giant were both testing in Sedona. None of those 40's say 49 yet though
