4/8/2014 2:43am US Bobsleld team called: they want to take a run down the course to get a feel for the next Olympic games with extra global warming in mind. #gettingtubedattheseadonkey

4/8/2014 2:43am DeFiebre probably pedaled 20 miles, built a berm, pedaled another 20, then repeated 3 times a day. The guy is an animal!

4/8/2014 2:42am I'm stoked to finally see some serious work go into the course. It seems like the last few years have just been a couple days of raking and watering. Don't worry T, those fresh berms will be shredded up and rough in no time.

4/8/2014 2:42am Well, good job doing a lot of work. However, the smoother and smoother the berms and track are the less excited I am to race. I loved the track 10 years ago with more grassy turns and fewer berms. Maybe call it retro to make it pass committee. In the end though, it is good to see a promoter put effort into a course, despite differences of opinion.

4/7/2014 4:43am Reach is explained here - http://www.pinkbike.com/news/08ReachStackStandard.html The seat tube angle is quite a bit steeper on this new model which gives the appearance of the top tube lengths being about the same, but the distance between your feet and hands is greater.

4/7/2014 4:43am Ok, noob question here, they state that the reach is 1" longer than before, but top tube measurements are basically the same as previous versions, so what is reach?

3/28/2014 3:40am Looking at the 26" I'm guessing 430mm rear centre. They seem to thankfully be moving away from short as possible to more optimum length rear centres these days.

3/21/2014 3:10am "A single piece carbon steerer/crown/upper leg assembly" - similar to what Marzocchi and Easton tried with the Bomber RAC about 15 years ago. I guess technology has moved on far enough to make a better, more cost effective product this time around? Man, that makes me feel old!
