i mean it was pretty dang incredible to see/hear/read about the same types of protests being held in london and italy and all over the world. in a lot of ways, this did bring people all over the world together with things theyve been feeling for a while. you got to admit - there is a lot of strength and unity in that. no?

and here we are. commenting on a bicycle forum. about race. thus having a conversation about it. whether you agree or not, having words like this in "seemingly useless or non-applicable place [ie - mt bikes]" gets more people talking about race. and not talking about race is the issue... i live in a major US city. this isn't going away anytime soon. have more conversations that make you feel uneasy! i love the paint jobs. keep on, commencal!

I've had a True Precision Stealth rear wheel on a couple different bikes over the last 3 or so years. It worked well on my Canfield Riot, I don't recall any additional kickback. The hub is just magic on my singlespeed, so that's where it lives now. Nothing new to add, other than mine has been 100% flawless as a hub should be. So pumped to see them alive and in a more refined package. Well done Box.

As an onyx hub owner i understand that blessing and curse of a silent hub. Always hunting down creaks and rattles. These are intriguing.

I would be really interested to see a test comparing the drag on these hubs compared to the Onyx. Also it should be noted that the Onyx Vesper hub has a claimed weight of 389g which would make the Box is about 22% heavier. Another thing I wanted to point out is about the "sponginess" that you talked about. Many, myself included, see this as more of a feature than a fault. I really like the soft initial feel of the hub. It makes other hubs feel a bit harsh or clunky by comparison now. If that makes sense. If...

i can definitely appreciate the idea of the onyx feel as a feature, not a fault. i will say the box don't feel harsh or clunky on trail when shifting. "normal" fast engaging hubs can have that feel though, possibly b/c there is just that little bit of play?
