6/19/2020 12:40am Remember my invention in 2016? A 550 Gramm 2 gear chain ring at the fron that shifted under full load...? http://www.vyro.com/ I had absolutely no chance against the 1-by-trend. Just stopped selling it last year. Still some hundreds on stock.

The two shocks were tested in the open mode. The levers are just clocked slightly different between the two shocks. As for the compression question, we're essentially opening up both compression circuits. So it will be lighter that the stock tune with the adjuster fully open. Obviously the compression tune depends on the rider weight and riding style. In most cases, you'll continue to run the compression fully open and use the air pressure and volume spacers to get the support you need. This helps maintain the suppleness. It's not likely that you would need to use the LSC compression...

Most of us would. Schladming just needs to put in a bid and pay the UCI hostage fees.

So many corners that would be major schralpzzzzz today on a long bike with a big wheel but on that 26" demo with a 420ish CS it just whips right around

What is it that makes a bike fun? What do we require it be capable of? What boxes must it check? Pedaling, pumping, jumping, climbing, descending? Surviving, encouraging, enjoying? The list could be a mile long and will vary from bike to bike and rider to rider. Hopping on the Transition Scout, a mid-travel trail/all-mountain bike with Transition's Speed Balanced Geometry (SBG) and GiddyUp 2.0HH suspension, we expect some fun will be had. Will it check all our boxes though? Strengths Weaknesses Great cornering feel and performance Quieting yet lively over chunky descents Doesn't lose much speed or hang up...

8/12/2019 4:59pm I actually tend to agree with most of Jeff's comments below. I'd add the need to convert to MicroSpline as a key ding against the group, especially since Shimano is limiting access to a majority of the industry. Not only do I need to purchase all new wheels - or at least hubs - my choice in manufacturers is pretty limited.
