Maybe those wheels are OK, since they're fairly light anyway and a lighter cassette is a decent option?

they are definitely bucking the trend of a longer reach and shorter chainstay...even going the opposite direction. not many bikes out there with longer chainstays than reach...would love to try it.

I think Stevens is done for bikes. More likely to have snoqualamie pass if they have trails done by then (who knows) over Stevens.
