Air shocks are stroke specific too. Or at least you need to change the needle to fit the new stroke. It is unfortunate to some extent, it does create more SKUs, but it's the name of the game. The needle (for air shocks, the damper body for the coils, so swap that around below) is x mm long and engages y mm off the top. The same y for a 57,5 mm and for a 65 mm stroke shock.
