Completely right! There are some new features in the latest AutoCAD Release, one of them is the "create cranks" feature. That's it, hit the "create cranks" button and you're done! Awesome! Unbelievable!

That's like saying a set of allen keys assembled my bike, instead of saying I assembled my bike.

The UDH hanger part is replaceable. If it's plastic, it will not be as bendy as a thin metal hanger, thus won't bend as much. It will break, but hopefully the parts will be cheap to replace and will be intentionally a weak point. Bending a hanger on a ride means you'll be able to ride out. Breaking the mount is a problem. On the other hand if I'm not grossly misunderstading how things might work, it would mean less weird shifting issues caused by bent hangers (the amount of drivetrains I've made to work again using just a hanger...

They are both “reasonably” packable. The 2.0 doesn’t feel like it will fit in its own pocket when you start stuffing it in there, but it goes eventually: the 1.0 is easier and packs down to about half the volume of the 2.0 (but the 1.0 is not a real rain jacket of course.

Makes sense. I’m sure any company focusing on performance would love to have frame feedback from the guy who’s been developing his own World Cup bike for the past two years.

He’s posted other photos of that Nomad last year riding enduro. Also looks like he’s been riding the cannondale Jykle.

Another spy shot of the new SRAM drivetrain from the Queenstown Bike Fest. The cranks and bash guard look pretty sweet.

Here I go derailing the thread again... Even went to DMs to avoid that. Race face also has one, but at 30T there needs to be an offset to fit the chain past the spider tabs. That offset could create some sideloading in the spider, possibly causing erroneous measurements of power (as the power meter measures flex of the system).

Wait, what's the theme of this thread again? Smile I didn't know it at that time and overlooked the fact that my bike nook and collection would have been at Mountain Bike museum status today. That one bike I almost wanted to steal at Interbike (or where it sat collecting dust at the Hayes HQ in WI). I don't have too many if any old racing pics of me. Norba National at Snow Summit. 7th place in expert class with two crashes. Future was bright.. lol Pic of The Martins (Anka & Sven - littermag/vital legends) back in their respective...

Everything was cooler back in the day, because we still rode BMX bikes. This is a mid-school thread really. Shit.... maybe I've become my grandparents?

This will date me. My last DH bike was technically an SWD. That dick from the company (Not Steven or Hank, the wannabe Jeordy guy.) ripped me off to the tune of $800 for one of the bad batch of frames that came out after Steven's death. The ones with XC geometry and DH travel. Hank, the stand up guy that he is, invited me to come to his shop and make a new front end for it that worked great and had modern geometry. Then I realized that the Bullit gen two swingarm that I had was a perfect...
