Nukeproof/vitus have sent out plastic rings to protect the steerer as brake cables have been rubbing against it, should be a recall given it’s a safety related potential serious failure

@Masjo (RE the rumors thread post, hope you see this) the bottom bearing is free of any routing. It's the top bearing that has stuff going through it. Regarding tucking under the stem, a) it doesn't look as clean (I guess), and b) (more importantly), routing behind the headset could add some more stress to the hoses and housings or you'd need more slack (i.e. make it look even worse). With fully internal routing you enter the frame completely vertically basically 'on' the axis of rotation and you can have the slack inside the headtube, top/downtube, etc. Of course that...

yeah i asked about that.. going to have aftermarket talk to some service centers and see how much of an issue this is. The HBO bodies are going to be tough- the HBO needle is pressed in and it's not easy (ie you couldn't do it with a vice and some janky socket setup).

Seems Pole have discontinued all non-electric bikes. Stamina is removed from their page, and Taival and Evolink are still there. Seems they are there because they are still in stock.

It's not the amount of material that's the key, it's the shape and placement (i.e. the stress levels in the material).

that‘s some BS! check his video on IG, he slipped on a pretty fast and rough section… not failure on the bike.

Dakota Norton crashed this weekend and apparently broke his bike so much so that he had to ride the production Intense m29 that he went onto take the win.

That would be a huge improvement on where we are currently!. The new RS shocks are something I think most places feel they can get behind. Can you also do shock bodies for the air shocks with no sag markings?. That would improve things massively for both RockShox, distributors and all service centres. 8 shock bodies are needed just to cover the 57.5-65mm stroke shocks currently and most are never in stock at the distributor.

OK- working on getting you guys sorted. Should eventually be able to order the travel-changing parts individually: -HBO 'Posts'- there are 6 or 7 different ones and a 'decoder' that tells you which one goes on what stroke shock -BLANK shafts with no sag graphics so you can stock less shafts -Plastic travel reducer discs (2.5, 5, 7.5 thicknesses) What else do you need?

Super impressive for Dak to overcome that sort of mad scramble on Saturday and still have his head on straight for finals on Sunday. Ditto for Frida on someone else's bike. Thanks for the great reporting, Vital.
