As far as the actual coverage goes, besides the commentary it seems just as good if not better than Redbull. I think people are looking at the past with rose colored glasses, Redbull would have weird camera angles and mess ups all the time as well. Im a big fan and even with the reduced number of men and women in finals it makes for a long broadcast its about 3 and a half hours long and to be honest when a guy has a big mistake or is obviously behind the pace and its not a bigger name you...

I never understood loading your bikes in the bed of your truck any other way then using a tailgate pad. The hitch rack... could be interesting if they put any actual info up about it. Actually what would be nice is a video that shows the product they are trying to sell me rather then people riding their bikes. Sigh i know it's not a popular opinion, but I dread the day (soon) when ebikes of all sorts will outnumber regular bikes on the trails. Kids, old people, people with disabilities, athletes, everyone will be riding an ebike. Regular mtber will have to stop all the time to let ebikers pass by, getting more and more annoyed by the change of sport that's happening. Kids complaining is part of the growing up and finding his/her personal limits, overcoming challenges, etc. Once they get used to riding an ebike, there will be no interest to ride regular bikes for them...

Ha ha - at one point I was telling myself #whysoserious But yes he was great. I shook my head when that women commentator said Goldstone was from the US. But regardless - I'm grateful we can watch live racing. I remember the days when we couldn't watch and lets be honest, when Freecaster first got onboard we missed more footage than we got to watch. GCN did great in my book

I have to say, after my initial scare, that the stream is quite good in general. Quality image, acceptable coverage of the track, and commentators that know their sport. Overall, everything is good... But it is not better than before, and RedBull gave it to us for free. I feel bad for them, maybe I will buy a six-pack every race weekend in their honour

I really like the new format, the semi added another element of excitement for me, see who could hold it together for 2 runs. And I think I got every cents worth of $50 for being able to watch the race with zero commentary, just the statistics, absolutely worth the GCN subsription for that alone.

I don't like the protection rules. I get you are protected into the race. That race is the Semi Finals. Not both the semi finals and the finals. I mean if you are that hurt, screw up 2 times be it a mistake or mechanical you don't deserve to be in the finals. You had your chance you blew it come back next week.

France is not America. This is very hard for some people to understand. I speak French and have spent a good amount of time in France. It's a totally different culture. They look at American culture through the fog of distance and a second language. He wouldnt understand for a second why a word can be said by some people but not by others. He should obviously by educated as he is now an international athlete, but I don't hold anything against him. Live and learn.

Well I am not a racist person by any means, and I think America and Americans nowadays are way too serious and getting offended about everything! I look at that post and I see a joke, could be a bad joke, not funny whatsoever, but he’s joking about black culture/music or whatever! He’s French, I am sure he has black or Arabic friends. Let’s talk about mountain bikes instead my friend!
