Gotta infiltrate & decimate that club. Sound like they have the best intentions. And that is NEVER a good thing.

We're having the same issue here. A group is trying to formalize some trails that have been there forever. The landowner is 100% fine them being there as long as he 'doesn't know'. The group trying to make them official will remove his plausable deniability and make him liable so he will have to get rid of them. So dumb.

That’s such bullshit. Less opportunity for Jackson, Finn and Kolb to catch up. Why do they have to mess with the points allocation for the finals? F1 did this a few years back and quickly scrapped the idea. it changes the ‘standing’ of the event. Every World Cup race should be equal in value in a series.

In previous years they added the qualifying points to the final points so the overall number of points up for grabs remained the same. There is no mention of that in the current rules, only a statement of no points scored in qualifying and semi-finals. Unclear if they intend to add the points to the finals points (which they should do, the last race of the season should "weigh" at least as much in the overall standings...).

This may or may not be true, but I've been told a major US DH race promoter that US jurisprudence says that if the race promoter or resort puts up one tree pad they're liable for all the trees that don't have one. But if you don't put up any tree pads, the courts will view all trees as an...

Ritchie looks to have safely qualified. Strong quali from Chris Grice. Neko on the qualifying bubble currently.... Luca too, but is thankfully protected as rider no. 20.

The derailleur plug-in already exists, but they're so hush-hush about it. Trek and Scott had them on some e-bikes. They apparently have a tiny battery to give you 100 or so shifts in the worst of situations. Dropper is going to require quite a redesign and space is already at a premium at the bottom of a dropper. From what I was told, SRAM went with the Shimano motor mounting pattern for immediate and easy installation onto existing bikes. Makes a lot of sense to flood the market quickly, especially if there's no real issue with the mounting pattern. Ruh-roh...

is it just me, or is that SRAM motor cover looking seriously unfinished and unrefined? SRAM spends so much time on marketing, graphic design and arguably aesthetics, it just looks like a big old lump of plastic. Atleast shimano put some fake vents in lol.

if you are basically approaching the limit of something (like flex/stiffness) as a big guy like Greg, small changes can be noticeable. he may not be quantifying it "this is x% stiffer" but comparatively, "x is stiffer than y".
