I experienced that, yes - I think the HSR tunes they offer are a bit light, might want to try and go up a tune.

So ochain or chain device does not change the anti rise effect. Rotor size does not either. Leverage ratio does not change or effect AR. A flip chip on brake arm could change AR. Really just 10mm can change it. I have experiment a bunch with @Vessel_bike_project on this. He made a float brake arm for my V5 and for custom steel gearbox DH bike.

Kona Stab had that as far back as at least 2004, two mounting points (the other one is right on top of the bottom bracket): I remember reading about Fabien Barel experimenting with the position depending on a track, and i've tried the same on my '08 Stab. Of course, I havent felt a slightest difference back then.

Has anyone spent any time on the 2026 TR11? It's like a desert out there when it comes to reviews... Looking at the XL TR11 as an option to replace my R3 Session (mullet & -1° cups). Mostly riding steep, reasonably fast, technical shuttle trails. I'm a bit under 6'2 so I'm kinda in between sizes. I've bounced around on a couple larges and they felt way too small, so thinking XL with the short cups and slack setting Anyone have any experience with this bike?

A 1 metre drop gives you a contact speed of: v = sqqrt(2*g*h) v = sqqrt(2*9.81*1) v = 4.4 m/s. This speed is obviously blunted by the tyre and everything else flexing (including the rider), but that's the limit case for a flat 1m drop. If the landing is up the impact speed is higher. If the landing is down it's lower.
