To be fair its not like the other manufacturers have vastly superiour policies or reliability. Plus people like to shit on shimano but they actually have kept the same motor mount for almost 10 years now. This means if your motor craps out or you're dissatisfied with the power on your old e8000 you can get a new or lightly...

For me, Tahnee is one of the more interesting characters on the curcuit, on one side she is the morst girly with all the screaming pink kits and and then she is probably the most vocal about being a rider, and female one that is, with public topics about having problems focusing on the grind required to be WC athlete, how does having period affects her training and mood, which are topics nobody really talks about. Last weekend my gf had bad period cramps and she had to take 2 pills and spent whole day pretty much sleeping, now imagine...

Both Pivot and Evil frames are, or were as of 2020, made in Myanmar at a place called Very Impressive Prospect Co., Ltd (VIP). Allegedly the factory workers tried to unionize and the labor leader was stabbed by goons. https://globalmayday.net/2020/10/18/myanmar-union-busting-at-sporting-g…

The more I read about this Bosch update the more I appreciate the Shimano EP801 with the current firmware. Easily adjustable for all this stuff. Underrated.

I wonder what's causing that chaotic variable pricing? 🤔 Perhaps a certain yam-tittied, geriatic orange ghoul at head of a certain government?

PSA about the dust wiper issue: SKF makes a green (low-friction) wiper that takes care of that issue and reduces stiction. Ride it with the stock wipers until you're at 50 hours, then swap out the wiper when you're doing the first service. Le boom

You don't have to apologize to anyone - this is how ya figure out what you like. I have Fox, RS and Manitou - like them all though I'm super careful w/ Fox and its near impossible to fully service at home w/o weird tools while RS & Mani aren't. Anyway - ya like what ya like and if people don't like that... who cares. I'm not looking for a fleet of back-patting comments here so be honest, that's all this is - talk.

I wonder when we will have someone dying because of some overrun on an exposed section of trail. I try to deactivate assistance on exposed trails because sometimes scary stuff happened when I was off the bike and there was some input to the pedals and the Levo would just want to escape by itself.

Its only working becuause I'm light and prefer to ride natural hiking trails which are usually way more damped because the soft top layer soil isn't gone and the bottom layer not compressed by thousands of riders so that its hard as concrete like bikepark trails. You also can't go as fast on them because they are narrow. I also...

I'm light (65-68 kg without gear) but ride the radials on a light Levo built and I almost use as low pressures as with the supertrail casing in the trail casing. And really low because I also mostly ride natural trails with rocks and roots and no high g force turns or jumps. I also carry a gauge with me...

I'm 160 (72kg). I run a soft setup, both tires and suspension. Haven't had a whole lot of squirming or rolling of the tire but sometimes do get some cross hatching marks on the rear sidewall suggesting I am flexing the tire quite a bit. We do not have a lot of high G force berms or jumps with high G takeoffs here in SW CO though, especially this year with Purgatory bike park closed. The trails are mostly natural single track with some roots and rocks. If I was riding park or somewhere with high G scenarios, I'm sure...

What's wrong with the Albert as a rear tire? So far I didn't come to test it in the front or the back but I think its should be fine in the back. Just not a grip monster for an ebike I think.

Great review! I would love to see a comparison between this and the Intend Infinity. Both seem to be priced similarly but I’m currently leaning towards the Intend due to the dual crown stiffness plus the travel adjustability
