- the juniors will do well, but won't be a smooth transition to elite. - Jackson and Loic will continue to dominate, but a healthy Amaury will mix it up. Henri will be a regular on the podium - Vali on a Commencal and a stable team will be tough to beat. Being Canadian, I hope Gracey has another year like last year. - the Specialized Demo is released. A new precedent on how expensive DH bikes can be is set - more park/freeride specific bikes (think Transition Bottle Rocket, Commencal FRS, etc) are released. Hopefully Kona comes out to...

I'm 5'-9" 180 lb. I just re-measured and according to their size chart I was firmly a L, but knowing I hate pads slipping down, I went with a M. That is probably what contributed to the early chaffing too as they broke in. And now that you are more interested, I will also say I didn't actually purchase these...

I pedal 3-4 hour rides in pants with these G-Form Mesa MTB Knee Guards pretty frequently. Had the Ion K-Pact Zips before which weren't quite as burly, but rubbed the back of my knee-crease funky on the bigger days. Having those solidified that I'll only have pads with zippers from here on out though. The G-Forms left me with a...

I'm 6'2 and 260lbs and I've had Yamaha, Shimano, Bafang and Fazua bikes. I have found them all to be adequate motors. I currently ride the Fazua bike and love it because its a BURLY build but only weighs 46lbs (which is 10lbs or 20% lighter than my full powered ebike). Riding by myself I have no problems and even riding with full powered guys I can keep up but I'm breathing heavy enough I can't hold a conversation (also I really only ride in river - "blue"- mode, if I turn to rocket -"purple/pink" I could keep up easily)...

Question for Fazua: can you give us any more info on your future plans that would increase confidence in current Ride60 owners? I recently picked up a Heckler SL with a Ride60 motor. I love the ride quality of the motor and the lower weight of the package because I enjoy pedaling to the top, I just want some extra support to do longer rides. The Ride60 supplies totally adequate power, so I don't understand why people would want or need a full-power ebike. Can currently happily get 3-4,000 feet of climbing in out of a 3 hour ride. I...

Tenet Components Liked a comment about product review $698 Alloy Wheels With A Lifetime Warranty | Tenet Coven Wheel R

Thanks for voicing your concern. Wheels are a really large initial investment when it comes to tooling, hitting MOQ's and first production numbers. Most of the larger brands you know have easer access to capital than a brand our size. Crowd funding was a way to test the market and raise capital without selling out to private equity or taking on huge amounts of debt. Now that the heavy lifting is done, keeping wheels turning is less of a hurdle (pun intended ha). We have planned for lots of stock incase things go awry for customers.

I know it wasn't directed at me, but I would not find the range extender only a practical solution at all. You would have all the weight or more of current SL ebikes without the range. Maybe at a self shuttle bike park but again, it still doesn't seem practical to have multiple range extenders for a full day of riding. I personally think the Levo SL around 60-70nm and 500-600wh battery, mid 40lbs or less with optional range extender would kill it. I have owned a Levo gen 4, Shuttle AM, Shuttle SL, several Giant Ebikes, and currently have...

Glad to see FAZUA sent a reply, considering forum members here seem to be forecasting their imminent demise. I (reluctantly) picked up a steeply discounted FAZUA Ride 60 powered gravel bike for commuting and have found it to have more than adequate power for that application (can comfortably sit at 28mph when in the drops). For my mountain bikes, it’s full power all the way.

E-MTBs have polarized opinion since they were first introduced, but although issues like trail access and erosion continue to stoke the fires of debate, these machines have become an integral - in some places even a dominant - part of the wider mountain bike landscape. Primarily driven by very high levels of user demand, the industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace, with advances in technology enabling the development of both lighter and more powerful e-MTBs than ever before. At the same time, regulatory frameworks remain somewhat loose and certainly not harmonized across different geographies, making it difficult to...

Shimano will answer your email in about 5-10 years, next upgrade cycle.... Interesting how different some answers are from each other, each brand really is going their own way especially in the last "power" question. Where they all seem to be saying the same thing is battery advancement. With that being a HUGE source of weight it tells me we're not moving +/- 1-2 points for a few years. My question, who is going to release an integrated gearbox first? Otherwise keep fighting it out boys, the competition is good for us!

Thanks! Didn't get it built up in time for any bike park this year but stoked for next season for sure. This is the third bike I've ran the Shigura setup and I highly recommend it. Plenty of power, especially with the 220 rotors.
