I know it wasn't directed at me, but I would not find the range extender only a practical solution at all. You would have all the weight or more of current SL ebikes without the range. Maybe at a self shuttle bike park but again, it still doesn't seem practical to have multiple range extenders for a full day of riding. I personally think the Levo SL around 60-70nm and 500-600wh battery, mid 40lbs or less with optional range extender would kill it. Glad to see FAZUA sent a reply, considering forum members here seem to be forecasting their imminent demise. I (reluctantly) picked up a steeply discounted FAZUA Ride 60 powered gravel bike for commuting and have found it to have more than adequate power for that application (can comfortably sit at 28mph when in the drops). For my mountain bikes, it’s full power all the way.

Shimano will answer your email in about 5-10 years, next upgrade cycle.... Interesting how different some answers are from each other, each brand really is going their own way especially in the last "power" question. Where they all seem to be saying the same thing is battery advancement. With that being a HUGE source of weight it tells me we're not moving +/- 1-2 points for a few years. My question, who is going to release an integrated gearbox first? Otherwise keep fighting it out boys, the competition is good for us!

Sick build on that Revel man, I bet that thing shreds bike parks! How are you liking the Shimano/Magura brake setup so far?

Thanks! Didn't get it built up in time for any bike park this year but stoked for next season for sure. This is the third bike I've ran the Shigura setup and I highly recommend it. Plenty of power, especially with the 220 rotors.

I think the issue is a) designing like that inherently makes the down tube larger since it's a container and not a pre-formed thing that 'completes' the down tube... And b ) if you make the down tube any smaller with this design the battery is gonna be laughable, even with a range extender. And then c) it means you have to run Fazua lol. Transition - big fan of bikes and company. Trek - my preference of the big 3. Probably just carry limited numbers of USA made frames beyond that. Basically cool stuff for bike enthusiasts to look at while they wait for the service counter. Would have very few floor models. Just a bit of whatever is new and some sizes for fitting purposes. Most the shop space would be geared towards parts, accessories, and clothes. Loads of shoes in diffirent colors and sizes. Same with pads and helmets. I know we've all seen this exact setup before but love my 35mm Boxxer on my Patrol. 200mm up front with a Works angleset in +1 setting and the tubes are low enough in the crowns to get the BB to stock height. If it was a dedicated enduro bike I'd consider dropping the travel in the front but probably not. Spent 4 days on a Status 170 DH in Morzine and bottomed the 180mm front out a few times on Pleney steeps, which is closer to "enduro" terrain. If you can get the BB height close to stock I...
