How much of the appearance that “e-bikes are the only thing selling” is an artificial bubble based on the fact that they are a market that essentially did not exist 6-7 years ago? Thus, we are still working through the initial phase of: everyone who is interested buying into the market (often for the first time) looks like greater demand than what will stabilize over the ensuing 5-10 years. I imagine over time as there are less ‘new’ buyers and the demand becomes only individuals turning over from an older model to a newer one that e-bike sales actually drop...

I used to get this where my hand was rubbing on the outer lock ring. Switching to push on grips and grips with just the inner lock ring resolved the issue for me.

Just wanted to add a few things and opinions here. I'm a huge Mille fan and a huge fan of all the gals conquering Hardline over the years, so take it as you will. We all have different perspectives. Sure, Mille has had her fair share of crashes, but so have so many others trying to find the speed to be at the top. I've always viewed her as one of the most comfortable on the big jumps and things. I've been rooting for her to get an invite for a few years, honestly. Anyway, in some of the videos...

Just in case you weren't aware: You come across like a right old tit. EDIT: On another note: The (not very exciting) PB raw video states Ronan broke his frame. Sure hope he has a spare available.

The unofficial DH season kicks off this week with Red Bull Hardline in Tasmania. The field looks stacked and as we know, the track is pinned with massive jumps. Use this as the place to share and enjoy the goods from down under! Live webcast on https://www.redbull.com/us-en/events/red-bull-hardline-australia (and we'd assume on YouTube, too) - Feb 7, 10am EST, 7am PST for those in the USA. Here's the RAW from last year to get you hyped, and we have Ty Bowmaker shooting another one this year. Rider list (WHO'S YOUR MONEY ON?) Men Jackson Goldstone (CAN) Asa Vermette (USA) Ronan Dunne...

Update from the Thinker Garage ;-) The new sensor and calibration are finally implemented. While calibrating the system, I now create a map between rear sensor data (the link arm sensor) and the rear wheel vertical travel (the fishing rod looking sensor). This map is then used while logging to know which sensor value means how much rear wheel travel. Main advantage: No leverage curve needed anymore unless you want to reverse calculate the shock movement. But honestly I haven't seen a use case for that yet in terms of bike setup. Do you guys use raw shock movement data...
