1/31/2026 9:20am Crestline added swappable dropouts to ther emtb from their DH bike. It seems like a must have for any new frame from any brand moving forward.

1/31/2026 9:20am As far as I know, the Nomad and the longer travel bikes are going to remain VPP for the foreseeable future. The new Tallboy is not really any lighter than the last Gen either, and the whole thing doesn't make sense. I've thought that Pon has been sticking their fingers into their brands a lot recently, not just SC, but GT, cervelo, and Cannondale, and it isn't going to work out for them. They're trying to set up SC as their answer to Specialized, turning them into similar scale brands, but it just won't work.

1/29/2026 10:53pm VPP is 4 bar Lets be frank here one of the biggest reasons they (and Intense) bought VPP was because Specialized had the Horst patent.

1/29/2026 10:53pm I don't get the move away from VPP, especially if they're going horst link like the Vala. I don't think the market needs another four bar trail bike, and SC prices are a little steep for selling what is effectively a smuggler with a swat box.

1/29/2026 10:47pm It’s BS that eewings are so expensive and yet don’t come with a lifetime warranty IMO. If they’re billing them as a “buy it for life” crankset then they should back that up with a warranty. I have heard of at least one person bending them.

1/24/2026 10:06pm Maybe electronic DHX2 or X2? I remember seeing a prototype shown on someones bike at some point last year, but that was the one and only time I saw mention of it. A gravity-oriented electronic shock from Fox that has more adjustment than a DHX or Float X Live Valve Neo.

1/24/2026 10:03pm That guy continues to strive for the asshole of the year award. Any validity of his opinion has been removed by that kneepad/short gap and that’s even before we talk about his “low IQ” dismissal of everyone who dares to disagree with him 😂

1/24/2026 10:02pm As you know by the profile pic I can't let the past go (unless its to do with an ex girlfriend) Azonic were producing a 0 degree stem back in 1998 a friend of mine had one on a cannondale super v XC bike that was set up for Downhill you don't know what a short toptube is and scary geometry is until you have rode a bike like that! Then Mondraker had a go at it back in 2012 I love how forgetful people are when it comes to industry
