8/8/2023 1:00pm I'm pretty sure he had a short cage axs setup years ago in some edit. Not long after axs came out. It probably doesn't mean a dh axs is incoming.

8/8/2023 12:59pm VVC doesn't work like a typical shim stack, you can wedge 4 times the shims in there and it will do next to nothing. It involves incredibly fine tolerance machining of the standard parts (or a remake) then dyno'd and changed again and again as even 0.05mm preload will change the characteristics of the damper massively. It isn't worth the stuff around. A Fitgrip (or Grip1) tuned, different story, I have said this numerous times here, but it's a better damper than VVC Grip 2. Tuning Grip1 is not exactly easy either and involves again trial and error. This is...

8/8/2023 12:41pm While Loic and Finn's bikes are indeed oddly glued to the ground, to say that Fox and RS can only offer clicky adjustments is just not true. Fox offers multiple tune options on rear shocks to athletes and custom ones to the top athletes (most notably Greg). RS does the same.

8/8/2023 10:10am These kind of covers are widespread now and they are eye-catching, and I think that's what their purpose is. Any thoughts on the shock being mounted on the rear triangle and side-loads?

8/1/2023 4:05pm A shorter shock for a given travel means a higher (overall) leverage ratio. A higher leverage ratio requires a stiffer spring (coil or air, so higher pressure with an air spring) to provide the same force (support) at the rear wheel. With a short shock heavier riders can fall outside the pressure limits to reach the desired force at the wheel.

8/1/2023 10:11am fugly and what looks like a 185mm shock to save space. which means there won‘t be proper springs for heavy guys because they only use a 55mm hub for a long travel bike. stupid

8/1/2023 10:10am I just saw the new Altitude and I wish I could say more but I cant. All I will say is I was shock in the direction they have gone in a good way. It'll be a very interesting bike and I haven't seen a correct rumor about it yet. Stay thirsty my friends.....

7/31/2023 9:16am It's been out for a few weeks now, and that crank doesn't look any better than when I saw it at release.
