They'll be doing downhill, I'd imagine. Richie seems capable and motivated. He'll do well enough. Send Slawomir to all the stage races, Megavalanches, some EDRs, all the US stuff like Leadville or Downieville or Maah Daah Hey 100 (little shout out for a cool race up here in North Dakota) and all the wild stuff he's willing to do. Some real strange testing protocols, the main one being testing Hayes with semi-metallic, Shimano with resin and the rest with metallic. You'd think you'd go through all that trouble of using Brake-Ace to draw measurable comparisons you'd at the least run the same ballpark compound (Hayes even includes metallic pads in the box, Shimano metallic pads are easily had). Ideally you'd have just gotten a pair Galfer/Sinter/MTX pads for all brakes where possible. Not sure how the Hayes brakes gets a 7 for bleed procedure. Speaking of Moto suspension on MTB's... Yamaha had some very trick looking KYB suspension on their EMTB at the Japan Mobility Show in 2023. I think I'll pass on the EPS power steering though.

Misspent summers post race notes says 3 of the 6 elite podium riders likely to be on different bikes . So Coulanges definitely , Loris seems probably. So who's the other . Has to be Tahnee doesn't it ? Can't see finn , myriam or vali changing teams .

Similar product, spotted at the Snow Summit National last weekend behind someone's van. Asked and he said they work great, exactly as intended. We compared notes about how blown away we both were the first time riding a heavy ebike through choppy rough stuff. The front one is apparently an off-the-shelf moto product that fits a Dorado upper leg without modifications. And yes, these are definitely suspended mass dampers. Sadly, this bike needed a steering damper and hand guards to win bike tech bingo.

Couldn't help but notice they're using a different oil for Shimano brakes, i'm wondering if that's something already in the market and will be stock on the new lineup or if it's a new Shimano recipe

I found that sharp high frequency bumps were deadened. Like washboard bumps, or sharp square edge braking bumps. So this let me run my HSC a few clicks stiffer. Then in return my bike handled big compressions better. I used to sacrifice large high speed hits because I was looking for comfort in other areas of the trail that have more chatter.
