7/4/2025 1:03pm I dunno, 2.5 lbs between Stumpjumper Carbon an alloy is pretty damn noticeable. If I’m the average stumpy buyer I’d much rather have nx on a carbon frame than gx on a alloy frame. Especially since derailleurs wear out/break and I can just get a GX at that point.

7/4/2025 1:03pm If you are running the fork super stiff you can lower anti-rise since it's not prone to diving. Most WC racers are so that makes sense to me. If you don't run the fork super stiff, weight transfer is accentuated and the bike seesaws when you go on and off the brakes.

7/3/2025 9:23am are these not just TRP Evo Pro brakes in black? judging by the lever and bite adjust screws... and well... the exact shape of the lever body. With all due respect to Mitch, I HIGHLY doubt he's a part of Ohlins/Brembo "test riders" when the only ones we've seen in the athlete space are Specialized Gravity.

7/3/2025 9:22am I'm sure I'll get hate for this, but I'm not sure a dh race is the place to bring your dog. I've had enough issues with trail dogs (I feel pretty strongly that most dogs shouldn't come along for the ride and aren't as great on the trail as their owners say they are) and not sure massive crowds full of yelling, screaming people is the place to bring your dog.

6/30/2025 7:37pm She’s on a bike that’s a size or even 2 sizes too big with a short stem to fix it. That’s all. Yall are nuts short CS and short reach and small wheels are where it’s at

6/30/2025 7:33pm I also remember Gee Atherton using an ultra short stem years ago, only to crash a lot and go back to normal stems short after.

6/22/2025 9:44am E-bikes and relatively low power lightweight electric motorcycles will be the main transportation method for large parts of the world. Imagine replacing every 2 stroke engine in a Vietnamese city with something clean. Once the tech is affordable enough it would mean a massive improvement in air quality and noise. So what’s a niche or recreational market in some places can be the norm in others.

6/20/2025 10:09pm It is a dumb decision by Shimano, IMO. Instead of finally giving 11speeders a mainstream option, they chose the obscure route of proprietary design and complexity. I can't believe anyone will pick a Shimano-powered ebike just to have access to this RD.
