Speaking of prototypes, in the vital pit bits the Santa Cruz mechanic dished out a ton of new Saint details. 12spd chain, 8spd microspline cassette. Must be close to release...

This sounds interesting, especially the last part about Shimano! Maybe I'm just extrapolating from my own preferences here, but I feel that most MTBers who have been in the sport for a while thought the previous-gen Bosch motors were already powerful enough, and that they'd rather have the lightest possible motor + battery package at that power level than even more power and bigger batteries.

I would love to see Madrone make a SS tensioner at a more reasonable price.

Don't be shitty, man. Breach your shop's terms with trek and then Sspomer's just going to have to remove it anyway. You could have just said "I was in my Trek dealer and overheard they were launching two 32 inch bikes soon". THAT's a proper rumour!

That’s pretty stupid thing to post. I bet a lot of people here have a lot of information on hundreds of bikes that are under embargo, but we’re not dickhead so we don’t just go leaking stuff. This is for people to find stuff out in the wild and post it like if a website messes up by posting a...

Funny enough, I was just about to google a remedy for this haha. I can’t figure out how to get this to work properly. And it’s only the third gear on my GX cassette. It didn’t have as much issue on my xo wirelsss. I swaped as I bent the Duilio and getting an eagle 90 shifter cable and derailer...

I don't get the SRAM 90 hate. Intuitive shifter ergonomics (unlike the AXS pod) and it just works. Most durable, reliable system I've ever used by a country mile. I guess it could have a smoother shifter, but I've never once thought about it when out on the trail. I actually sold my AXS T-Type to a friend in favor of 90 after forgetting to charge the battery again. It's good we have choices.

Honestly, the lack of "fudgeability" by using the limits + b tension screws to deal with any cable/housing related issues puts a hell of a lot of pressure on the tension adjuster on the sram 90 shifter and its just... not up to the task. I think I'd be singing a different tune if it felt as nice to deal with (and worked as well) as the XO and XX1 stuff did in the previous generation. I recently put an XO DH shifter on a madrone DH jab and my god its so nice, and in my opinion what the...

Just out of curiosity, why is it not so hot for you? Seems like most people have liked the Transmission 90 stuff, except for the shifter.
