3/11/2026 7:50am It doesn't seem that low. New Spur has 39mm drop in high and 47 in low. Epic 8 evo also has it around 40 in low. Maybe they also spec 165mm cranks because they are focused on the downhill vs just being a quick climbing xc bike. At least for this bike, probably want to keep the bike light, so no adjustable chainstay.

3/5/2026 9:02am Bike park rental fleet purchasing managers are licking their lips right now. All jokes aside, it's good to see Norco filling out their Range (pun intended). They've got everything from XC halo builds to entry hardtails to this new park bike, while still seeming a bit "core" with Brage and the DH team. It's refreshing compared to the appeal to Bentonville and Marin County dentists that Specialized is leaning into.

2/27/2026 11:13pm Less I bet, Dario is actually trying to be core instead of just cosplaying it with Carhartt so now you get the occasional copy past from vital.

2/27/2026 11:11pm I've had more issues with a stumpjumper and an enduro than I have any of my forbidden bikes. 🤷♂️ I have only had their v2 versions though, no idea what the v1's were like.

2/27/2026 11:05pm I'd think that if they released one or two more generations of duds, they'll find themselves losing a bunch of market share. Their target demographic won't stay ignorant forever.

2/27/2026 11:05pm 1) they see themselves as a technology/consumer electronics company now. When they brought in a Dyson guy to the c-level I knew we were going to see a different speci. 2) they’re way more conservative. Sinyard is older, economic pressures intensified, and the types of people who work there are dramatically different than 10 years ago. This is all mostly for the better but eventually you start to feel a lack of life from the bikes. I used to really want speci to become a more relevant and saavy company, but now that they are I realized how much funky...
