I think what you should maybe say is “for those of us who don’t ride at a level where a progressive spring curve is essential; be it through a linkage or an air spring, it might be nice to have the option to spec a genuine rockshox coil fork. Coil forks are great until you find their limit, and then they are really not great.

The 13-14 year age difference aside, the really problematic part for me is the fact that he was/is still her boss, and that relationship began when she was a teenager. If he was her teacher or coach at school and they started dating shortly after she graduated people would be up in arms. How is this any different?

Adam Brayton trolling Bernie is one of the greatest internet gags of all time. My personal favorite was the 'public bike park' series feat Roidy 🤣

I think his comments about hardline TAS being unfair really were the nail in the coffin for a lot of people

While none of are likely to buy the $20k bike, it's got us all talking about it... Mission accomplished...

Cool that sram are making a big effort for their athletes but personally I think all the 50/50 colour schemes look terrible. Wasn’t working for Pivot last year, isn’t working for the syndicate or norco this year. Frameworks knocked it out the park with the American chopper video 😂

As I said, both are 6 bars. Neither is a linkage driven Horst link (what you call a 4+2 bar).

When Fezzari/Ari first showed up at Sea Otter, they were hyping their new DH bike that basically had XC geometry. Kinda like that one batch of SWDs. And this was back before the great slackening.

I’d argue that might’ve worked effectively the first dozen times the bike industry did it, but not anymore. Unless what you’re hiding is truly unique, it actually does the opposite. People either see through it as a gimmick immediately, or are disappointed when the cover comes off and what is underneath is generic copied homework thus having the opposite effect just when the bike is actually about to go on sale.

I still think it’s really funny they are covering something which I can almost guarantee is a shock layout like the old Diamondback Knucklebox or a Propain. There is only so much you could package in there and whatever it is, it’s been done before and isn’t something that needs hiding.

Looking forward to vehemently redirecting anything and everything to do with 32 in wheels to that thread in the future, despite all things 32 inch wheel still constituting rumours and innovation at this point.
