10/20/2025 7:41am Respectfully, it's more accurate to say " Pro tip, your super enduro will absolutely be acceptable for DH trails." No matter how good long travel single crown bikes are these days, there's still no replacement for displacement.

10/14/2025 9:18pm Yeah that make sense. Would be cool to see more adjustments on SC frames but they unfortunately go the opposite way.

10/14/2025 9:17pm Damping needs to be adjusted to compensate for the change in leverage ratio regardless of what shock is being run.

10/14/2025 9:30am Ok here is my unified semi-conspiracy theory that explains the proto V10, Jackson Goldstone's bike weights, the mysterious lack of a Specialized Enduro, the development journey of the Demo, lagging enduro enthusiasm from bike companies in general, and even the Orbea Rallon. Manufacturers think that e-bikes are the future and are orienting themselves toward dedicating a majority of their efforts toward producing them. They have the following assumptions about e-bikes: -E-bikes have shown that the weight of the motor under the bottom bracket can actually play a positive role in how a bike handles. It drives the front tire into...

10/10/2025 6:16pm Yup! Or a Cascade Components "mullet" shock mount. Will all be cheaper than machining those huge rocker links.

10/9/2025 6:24pm There’s no bath tub on the alloy frames they make only carbon. I think this is a better solution but I’d love to see it in some carbon frames

10/9/2025 4:13pm I would guess this allows for even more sloppy frame tolerances. I know with the aluminum bikes they had a problem that the piece where the lower shocked amount is was not straight, causing all sorts of fit issues. I actually had to warrantee my frame because I’m such poor issues. I couldn’t physically get a new shot in once...

10/8/2025 2:47pm Having ridden a DJI powered bike (Mith) extensively, to the extent I still have an order in for one, and also having a Bosch Gen 5 bike, with the power upgrade, the post above covers the pertinent points. I don’t think there is that much variance in efficiency, all things being equal, but I don’t buy into the notion of “if it’s not got a DJI it’s not selling”. Bosch outsell DJI at a rate of thousands to one, they aren’t going anywhere with the latest motor. It’s really good & fractions different in the real world. The problem is...

10/7/2025 10:36pm IMO they nailed the V10 kinematics. Plus press love them and pros are doing well on them. I would expect the updated Nomad and Megatower to stay VPP since they have space to move the shock forward to get that ~120% AS.

10/4/2025 12:01pm I really wanna like this, but when he was on a stock bike, he was doing much better than this crazy contraption with all these extra things just to barely make it through Q2 twice this year
