I’ve drawn some lines to create a triangle that illustrates why it doesn’t move if you were to lockout the shock. The pivot up on the seat tube by the yellow line is fixed. The pivot that is the red circle is effectively fixed when the shock is made rigid. Those two points define the blue line. The green line and yellow line are fixed length. As a result their positions are completely defined in space.

Looks like they are using a DHX chassis which has the 1/2" shaft.

Rear Triangle on Minnaar's bike sure does not look production. If it is that carbon work is really bad.

I think its because in the past there has been enough ebike performance debates in this forum. It does not really offer much for Tech Rumors and Innovation of future products. Otherwise derailment would happen and poppa Sspomer will have to take off his belt.

Hey Jesse, I know you're a trained engineer and you're probably smarter than me and work for SRAM and I'm just some guy, but I've read that the SRAM Transmission does not use electronics to sense the shift gates in the cassette in order to sync the derailleur movements to match in time. Instead, the shift movement of the derailleur cage is instantaneous when you hit the button, and the delay you observe is from the chain waiting for a shift gate in the cassette to travel through the gate and change gears.
