3/31/2025 1:24am Man, Santa Cruz has the nicest paint in the business, but chooses the ugliest damn colors on everything.

3/31/2025 12:54am How has nobody mentioned the 32x2.4" Maxxis Aspen tires at Taipei Bike Show? As a 6'2" dude, I would absolutely try a 32er. Or if nothing else, a 32/29 mullet.

3/31/2025 12:52am Rivian spins out a new micromobility startup called Also with $105M from Eclipse The motor/ebike wars are just getting started. Can't wait to put my $15k+ Rivian ebike in the bed of my $100k Rivian and drive around Los Gatos giving acknowledging head nods to my fellow rich people.

3/31/2025 12:47am The holes increase airflow around the stanchion, aiding cooling and improving damping consistency by 11%. As a side note, 80% of statistics are made up on the spot.

3/23/2025 2:44pm Which is a shame, because overlap is what's best for consumers. I'm a big lad and probably need a 38, but smaller people really don't need the stiffness and extra weight.

3/20/2025 11:30am Running 150mm on XL bikes ? This is complete madness, there's no way this is safe to ride on steep stuff. I'm also 6'3'' and 200-210mm is the minimum to have proper freedom of movement on steeper trails.

3/19/2025 3:56am I have the Outlier pedals on 1 bike. I've only ridden them 2x. Personally, I don't notice at all the foot being located below the axle as far as the foot not trying to rotate around the axle, but I do feel a bit more stable on the bike as I'm a bit lower (when seated) and just a bit more down in the bike. I had to lower my dropper 10mm AND shorten my cranks 5mm. The traction is positively insane. You feel and are so locked in. Ground clearance is a real issue, I shortened my crank length...

3/18/2025 10:33am Saw this earlier today, didnt think much of it - Thought it was just a Fox transfer kashima dropper where colors might have been altered or some filter. But after looking at some comments, and digging around a bit more it does indeed seem like its something new from Intend BC, matching the rest of the components on her bike. So possibly getting a new Intend dropper in the future. Another pic of her bike, and Cornelius Cduro bike, both running the dropper, as well as prototype trail brake from intend. Hopefully something they'll release soon. Will probably be as...

3/12/2025 8:27pm OnlyMotion has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their electronic conversion kit for mechanical droppers. More info - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/onlymotion/worlds-first-electronic… I know this concept was discussed a few pages ago. I appreciate the effort to create something that doesn't exist. I also don't mind the extra cable at my cockpit for a mechanical dropper. I guess if you really want electronic/wireless without having to run the new gen of wireless droppers that look terrible with the battery at the collar, this is for you haha

3/11/2025 2:36pm https://www.pinkbike.com/news/first-ride-bikeyoke-releases-barmate-hand… I'm sure Vital will have a news story sooner or later too, for now PB will have to do. Anywho, finally some proper bar dimensioning being put forward. Dealing with the topic, I think it's essential as current values tell nothing meaningful (qed, a bar 55 mm high from clamp to grips comes out to essentially 35 mm rise in the real world). If you look at Renthal's fatbars, MTB versions have the same vague dimensioning problem but on the moto side EVERYTHING is laid out in detail. You can exactly see where your grips will be in relation...
