Minnaar 17 questions. He answers about running the Bosch anti-lock system Questions asked 1. How many times have you asked Jordi for setup advice at the FOX camp you’re at? 2. Since you’re retired and all, what percentage of your rides are on an ebike now instead of a pedal bike? 3. Loic basically said that 29-inch wheels arriving in DH saved your career and helped you earn more titles. Thoughts? 4. Do you think you’ve earned more money than Loic? 5. Was 2009 season. But yes one of the first and they were blown away by the tires and how the casing held up compared to Maxxis at the time.

The bike that launched the shock-destroying, clevis-extension era! The notched design with bolt on arms was a half baked emergency measure. The frame was originally designed for an elegant, albeit proprietary, one piece shock/yoke. Unfortunately the entire in-house suspension program at Specialized was scrapped before it ever made it to production. The notch/arm design was created to allow the use of any standard shock. I notched quite a eyelets in the Morgan Hill shop before the big suspension OEs got up to speed. There were only Qty8 of these beauties ever made. Nicknamed The Tuning Fork, they produced a lovely...

Well, the name Bike Yoke kind of already answers your question, doesn't it? 😉 We want to honour our roots, so we stuck with the name, although we are more known for other things now. The Yoke for Specialized bikes was our first product. I had previously been with Bionicon, yes. I was there from 2010-2018 as suspension and frame designer. For Bionicon I had used the 90° rotated eyelet already to create a shock extension and then we used the same idea to allow the use of normal shocks on Specialized bikes.

Spoken like a boomer core lord. That’s what the viral forums seem to have become though. Dario is actually a breath of fresh air in mountain bike media, same as Jason. His perspective is a welcome change from the usual safe, generic industry takes the rest of the media recycles time and time again.

Considering that we've got the Marz Shiver, the Manitou Dorado, and the Rockshox RS-1, the statement is completely stupid whatever way you want to swing it.

So this is kind of hilarious to me because forbidden just ships a pile of parts along with a frame that isn't even put together. Having built/QC checked a lot of bikes from Transition, Ibis, Cannondale, Orbea, and Forbidden I can honestly say that the QC on the Forbidden frames are absolutely stellar, on par with Ibis carbon (Ibis alloy leaves a lot to be desired). Unfortunately, with bike brands that ship just frame and parts end up leaving a lot of their bikes "QC" impression on the skills of the builder building the bike. If your headset creeks, or...

Heard on a podcast Jesse Melamed talk about helping out a local company, I'm pretty sure he rides on RMU skis. He talked about how it ended up on the vital forum so more fuel to the fire. Now here's hoping Dave W let's them have some longer chainstays.

I actually talked to a guy at enduro2 in meribel that had full on bilstain suspension on his bike. He was working on that project. It turned out that they think the market is pretty saturated with exotic suspension stuff. Apparently that wasnt the case when they started the project. Looked nice thought.

What an interesting turn this would be, they already make backpacks and tailgate pads so there could be something to this. If I were a ski brand, after this abysmal winter in the west, I’d also be diversifying the portfolio to adding summer products… Big investment if true but the bike looks sick.

Based on the soundtrack for that ad they should call the adjustable shock mount '...change my pitch up...' (for the ageing Prodigy fans out there).

I went for a ride this morning with Brett Rheeder and Brook MacDonald. Brett's still rocking & pimping the Commencal and seems to be in a pretty happy place, lol he wasn't very pedal fit though!| Brooks rocking the RB helmet but everything else in his kit was unbranded still, and riding that same brown Santa Cruz.... Guess he still doesn't have a team/sponsor yet.

Cast only sponsored him for the left grip which left the door open for Burgtec to swoop and get him for the right one. Always read the fine print of your contract
