2/27/2024 7:07am Greg Callahgan riding an ibis with Sram/rockshox and hayes brakes. Also still in his Red Bull helmet. I imagine Ronan will have one waiting for him when he gets home from Tasmania.

2/26/2024 11:20am Big and tall folks should also pay attention to listed rider weight limits on Specialized XC bikes as some models in the past have had relatively low max weights for someone of your height. It would probably be fine either way, but you'd basically get no warranty coverage

2/21/2024 9:30am To be realistic, the thing with Zink is not his talent. It's the competition for video plays in his demographic. He moved to the Southwest to get away from Cali for a better life for his family. Looks to be a great move toward happiness. But dang...his competition for clicks is guys throwing DarkFest front flips, Semenuk racking up rally wins & breakneck edits and a million other young guns who can hit the ground and still hop up.

2/20/2024 5:21pm I would also add that it's combined with some pretty bad luck around those partnerships. It seems like Felt, Corsair, Evil, and Hyper were all kind of unable to pay what he was worth during those contract periods. I have a hunch Devinci could be in a similar position with how many other athletes they've let go this year.

TEAMROBOT Liked a reply to forum topic 2.4 tires for enduro
2/19/2024 10:52am Just a heads up about tire sizing, because you seem to be dead set on getting a 2.4" tire. Not all 2.4" tires are the same size, and the best way to get a sense of the actual size of a tire is the ETRTO listing on the sidewall of the tire. For instance, the old 26" Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" had an ETRTO listing of 58mm, but the new 29" Maxxis Minion DHF 2.5" has a ETRTO listing of 63mm. They're both ostensibly a 2.5" tire, but in reality one is 10% wider. Why? The 2.5" moniker is there...

2/13/2024 7:39am Sram acting like they re-invented the wheel with their “transmission”-“shifting under load!” When Shimano has been doing it for years. Next bike I build up will be Shimano! Too hard to ignore the bang for your buck.

2/13/2024 7:39am Is Sram's "shifting under load" not just because it does it all slower... essentially replicating what we all used to do on a cable shifted system anyway. My old Sram AXS shifted underload far better than my current T-type, because it was paired with an HG+ chain and cassette. HG+ allows a much less careful shift under load and still does it with minimal protesting.
