pure speculation on my end, but i'd imagine it's not so much bitterness as just not wanting to work for free or give anything away for free. not sure how it all works in the end though.

6/27/2019 11:13am I definitely want to hear more from people riding Tannus armor. Having the extra cushion right on the contact patch makes way more sense to me for trail chatter vibration damping. I just want to make sure that the extra support is enough to prevent pinch flats before I pull the trigger

Unless there is something in the upper unit to control and dissipate energy being stored/returned by the spring, it’s still not a damper(or a second shock). Purely a spring, haven’t really gotten an answer stating otherwise. The video CFR posted a few weeks ago, Tom refers to it as a split system, same as here. Now, if there’s a trick hydraulic or pneumatic bottom out in there, it could be argued as a position sensitive damper. This bike broke the other website....it’s really not that complicated. You have a spring on one side of a conventional fork, and a damper...

Thought it was interesting he came down to "internet peasant land" (that's what I call it) to defend the product and ask Vital to pull the post. Part of me understands this. Part of me goes "cmon dude, that is overstepping a line you don't have control over". I understand he wants to be a good business partner for his sponsors. There was a PB quiz last week or so to test if you could identify tires by tread patterns. The correct answers were either, minion clone, MM clone, or junk though they went through the trouble of calling them by their side wall badges.

yeah something changed. live timing had greg in 61st and simmonds way out of contention. now simmonds in 53rd with no splits. sven just confirmed simmonds had a re-run. maybe someone else did too? either way the results list now is from the official PDF.
