8/6/2025 9:23am I guess the idea is that their little rod has less elasticity than a steerer, but I don’t think a steerer meaningfully stretches in a way that contributes to flex. 7/31/2025 1:48pm I think a shorter offset lets you corner more aggressively. You reduce the shopping cart effect so when you lean over on your side knobs the front wheel is less likely to tuck. At least that’s what I noticed going from 51 to 44 back in the day

I have a new-ish 29 fork with 37mm offset and you can have one, too. You just have to built it from the parts yourself.

7/31/2025 9:16am Narratively I think it makes sense, all these geo tweaks are downstream from one another. At least that’s what happens when you design bikes largely guided by market feedback instead of just testing things. Has any bike company been as vindicated as Geometron?

7/29/2025 6:28pm This is how essentially all normal suspension bikes behave. The only bikes with continuously extending chainstays are high pivots, and even then they have to be pretty up there for that to be the case. Switch infinity has similar characteristics to VPP and DW-link.
