The "floaty" bit hardly matters as far as kinematics go. And the trek was a linkage driven single pivot. This is indeed just another horst-link bike.

Yes, but the nature of Horst link could allow them to get around the pedal kick, whereas single pivot is a pretty linear relationship between distance of main pivot from chainline and pedal kick

Scott should’ve done this when the Gambler was still single pivot, the main pivot was pretty high to go without one

Probably, although the Boxxer is a 650b model it does have a big spacer under the headtube. Rear dropouts also seem to be adjustable.

It is super lame, the fastest qualifier should always start last. It would suck if a low key hero qualifies top 15 and isn't even shown on the live feed (like Dakotah Norton). I hope Red Bull will use the extra time in the schedule from only 60 guys racing to show more people on the feed. Preferably everyone, but top 40 would be great.

2/2/2018 7:34am Best downhill suspension I ever had was an Intense M9 in the 9.5inch mode with 50% sag. Never once bottomed out and it tracked so good and generally felt good over everything

But when pedaling, the chain is under tension and less likely to pop off, and that clutch looks like it was overtightend just for this demo
