I see all these posts saying that "Gwin is finsihed" and that he and the old guard can't keep up with the young guns. We forget that he won Maribor just last year, then was on a winning pace until he wrecked at Ft Bill, and took 2nd at Leogang with a broken thumb. This year he has one 6th place before his string of injuries and I guess you aren't allowed a single bad race anymore. He wasn't over-cooking it to "try and keep up"; I won't fault anyone for crashing in Andorra this year with those conditions.

9/9/2016 8:19am Man. We're learning nothing. If this was any mainstream sport, Finn would be sitting this race out without a doubt. He's risking the rest of his life by even considering a ride. To add, a neck injury is scary by itself (I know well!). I know, we as mountain bikers (and racers) don't plan to live to 100, but still, his brain needs to rest. He shouldn't even have the option to race. The UCI is going to be slow to do anything, so I feel strongly all the teams should enter into a gentlemen's agreement. If Peaty got us...
