maybe a bit off topic, but in the pb comments someone mentioned some disgruntlement in the syndicate as peaty being absent the last couple races and the riders seem split up during track walks. anyone got any insight? also they mentioned that greg seems to only be concerned with safety on some features if it benefits him which rubs some riders the wrong way as he‘s their representative.

watch tea and biscuits 2: Sam Hill part paraphrased from the film Interviewer: who was crying about this section? SH: "Greg Minaar, he used to cry any time there was a tree root! The UCI will be up there at night chopping them out." https://youtu.be/9h6Qa1O8ky0?t=208

IM STARTING TO THINK DISCOVERY WANTS TO F*CK AROUND AND FIND OUT. Seriously though. Protest with your wallets. The community needs to let the racers know and feel that we’re with them.

Can we rename the other thread to "teck talk", the content isn't really rumours and I sometimes get confused between the threads.

If Discovery takes away how many riders get put in live feed as well or if they just do a post race show like EWS, that could be detrimental for some contracts. IMO

Hoping Sram have an accessible bolt on the calipers of the new prototype brakes seen knocking about at the world cups unlike current code calipers

Yes, it's happening. I was against it, now that I have one and I use it to my advantage. F#ck negativity, and put your energy into trail stewardship or to persuade manufacturers to put money into financing trail and land access. Don't rant in a forum where no one is part of the group you're ranting about. Go out and ride your bike, or eBike.

Back in the late nineties when I was a teen, SC were seen (in UK) as a boutique brand and the high prices were justified. Nowadays that ain't the case as SC bikes are so common on the trails. The fact you can buy a boutique Antidote for less money than a top end SC is ridiculous.

I commented about this on their IG post of the new HT, something like “its 2022 stop mismatching the suspension, and they said “a shock is a shock and a fork is a fork, no reason not to”. Santa Cruz can absolutely suck canal water.

Do we know why SC refuses to use almost any other shock other than RS? I've never really been a fan of not matching f/r sus components and have read reviews of bikes missing the mark when they mix. I'm not saying its good or bad but the last several years I've never gotten an explanation.
