4/11/2022 7:47am Gents, Wonder if you’re interested in moving this pissing match to another thread, I couldn’t care less about your thoughts on which you believe is easier or harder to ride. Keep your feelings somewhere else please. I am interested in more info on that updated Boxxxer I keep seeing…you know, new tech and such Also, the updated Zeb, buttercups and all that, when will we see those forks on bikes? Got a 22 Spire coming, and it would be cool if it was the the newest and greatest gadget

1/26/2022 6:08pm Its weird how Intense has ended up where they are at. They put forth this image of being able to whip up these crazy exotic TIG'd prototype bikes. In reality, however cool it is to be able to do that, for a full blown factory team it is not out of the ordinary to have a team dedicated to that. They are just really in your face about it. Then you have them chasing their tails in bike development. They have been and still are way behind the 8 ball. They lost it trying to play catch up with SC...

1/20/2022 5:01am I found that number on ThumperTalk after a quick Google. My apologies if it isn't correct. That said, the coil springrates just never worked for me on my SJ Evo neither with the standard link or the Cascade. I was 7 spring purchases in and just frustrated, first ride back on an air shock and the rear suspension was better right away. I'll be sticking to air unless I buy a DH rig.

1/18/2022 8:04pm How is Enve a "big" performance boost over WAO? More like the other way around but these product endorsements by sponsored riders are cringe worthy.

The spherical bearing is only up front/top. They use the same bushings for the rear/lower as stock spesh.

I’ve got the Stump evo with CC link float x and push. With the float X I had to go from stock .2 spacer to a .8 and add 15 psi to get it behave correctly, say 30%, pop, no bottom clang, support, but small bump. Now the float x is dialed. I’ve had the 11/6 on 7 bikes in 3 years including the stumpy evo and I’ve ALWAYS had to get a stiffer spring after they send it back to me. I hate the feeling of a preloaded softer spring. You can make coil feel pretty close to air...

If there is one constant with YT, it's they consistently bail on successful racers. I think it boils down to the fact that their business model is to cut every single corner when they can when it comes to people & to spend money in big chunks when a windfall happens. Now that we're several years into the YT experiment, it feels like we're seeing a trend that they really are just winging it as they go.

Someone is about to get a deal on a hard charging Dak Norton. He is poised for a win really really soon.
