1/13/2025 2:48pm Could you measure the width between those two alberts? From what I’ve read on mtbr forums, all radials are undersized.

1/12/2025 4:09pm Yes it has indeed been the worst year of "rumours" and tangents my favourite was: Camile Balanche to Pivot cos there is a photo of her wearing a Pivot tshirt, A post or two later, someone says, you now that's a photo of Emiline who works for Pivot not Camile.

1/12/2025 4:08pm For those playing along at home, here’s where we stand with the most ridiculous rumors so far… #3 - Phoebe Gale off FMD, going to Reece Wilson’s new AON team, after being prominently featured in the Orbea FMD press release. #2 - Aaron Gwin back to mentor the kids on lower budget Trek Factory after becoming a partner in Crestline bikes last year. #1 - Old man Dan Atherton returning to stomp $$$ DH podiums on a prototype belt drive after his most recent 57th at a 2018 Crankworx stop. There’s a few others close to the top 3, but...

1/10/2025 2:34pm It is there, when I saw that video too I started to keep an eye for it too last summer. Happens on Specs gravity casing too and even more so with Michelins 2024 enduro lineup. Its actually quite noticeable if you change tires often, like I had to do while testing.

1/7/2025 3:07am Blenki might not have had a WC result for a while but he’s winning at something. For better or worse the Warner Bros deal really feels like it’s ushering in the end of a classic era for DH.

1/5/2025 12:33am " I’m so grateful for the people at Clif that kept the athlete program going for as long as they could" This line kind of tells that maybe everyone has been dropped, including Rheeder.

1/4/2025 3:19pm Dan wouldn’t even be able to qualify for a final. Being a fast rider at your own bike park you ride everyday is completely different from racing world cups.

1/1/2025 12:23am With the arrival of 2025 and big changes underway, here's a quick look back at how team and rider numbers have evolved over the years. All data pulled from the UCI website (https://www.uci.org/riders/mountain-bike-riders-teams/1V5hGPnEvXzbIqkjU…). The number of teams peaked in 2023 with a total of 184 (128 standard, 56 elite). 2024 saw the second highest number of teams on record with 163 (112 standard, 51 elite). The bike bubble bursting was already beginning to have an effect going into the 2024 season, even with the upcoming Olympic games. The growth in teams from 2021 (119 teams) to 2023 (184 teams) likely...

12/21/2024 12:26am Some thoughts on the radial casings: -Weight: 147lbs -Front: 29, Radial Magic Mary, Ultra Soft, Trail -Rear: 27.5, Radial Albert, Soft, Gravity Have ridden the tires on about 10 rides... 1. Started at 26PSI and quickly brought it down to 21-22.5psi, front and rear (note that I have different casings front/rear) 2. I've pretty much only ridden in wet, 40-58deg F conditions. 3. Not overly impressed with Soft compound in terms of grip on wet roots (climbing, etc.) Felt like worn T9 compound I had on previously was better. Schwalbe doesn't offer 27.5 Radial tires in Ultra Soft yet. 4...

12/19/2024 12:15pm Maybe the deals aren't done yet? They wouldn't announce five races unless there are actually five races and the announcement says "keep an eye out for website". One of those two races is an ixs race already so maybe there will be more with them. Funny is when you go on a tantrum and call it a joke when they...

12/19/2024 11:38am So far, these series will consist of twelve events in the Americas (seven Olympic cross-country and five downhill events), nine events in Europe (four Olympic cross-country, four downhill, and one combining both formats), and seven events in Oceania (two Olympic cross-country, four downhill, and one combining both formats). Reading is difficult sometimes.

12/19/2024 10:10am Curious why you needed a bullet tool to put the air cartridge back together. Did you remove the piston from the shaft? My negative spacer had a split and removing it was super easy. Agreed with both of you that the fork does run deeper in it's travel without the negative spacer. I had to increase my air pressures about 15-20 PSI in both chambers to get a similar feel but felt bottom outs during heavy compressions on steeps. My fork is so plush that the difference with or without the spacer is super minimal. This winter I plan on...
