The Vermettes recently moved to Cortez from Durango so that they could ride moto year round(like the Tomacs!). According to his dad he doesn’t really do any other training besides riding moto and having fun on his bicycles, he played rec soccer for 12 years, and around the time he quit soccer they started homeschooling him so he has more time for mid-day moto.

Okay, based on a pretty close approximation (distortion in the photos makes it a real pain to get accurately) here's what I can tell: - Very progressive leverage rate; more similar to the Aurum HSP than the Range, so the rate of progression increases through the whole travel, but more progressive than Aurum before the sag point (people tended to sag very deep into the Aurum to make the most of the extremely progressive end-stroke because of the high-leverage, linear beginning of the stroke, so this might help a little but it is still probably somewhere between 35-40% progressive). **edited...

Rear centre length is a huge proponent to front end grip that gets overlooked. If the CS is long enough, it literally drives the front wheel into the ground almost. My current bike has a 463mm CS, I could put my stem on backwards and still have grip lol. Sure I cant manual now, put my bike on a rack, bunnyhop or make any tight corners, but at least I got grip!

Loris' mechanic said in the Vital Pit Bits from Lenzerheide when asked about the Pirellis: "It's good, still need a bit more improvement to be ready to win races but... the guys want to have tires that win races." Kind of a crazy admission from someone on the team payroll.
