Aston and Cahal have their quirks but calling them mediocre riders is complete BS. Both of those guys rip. Also 435 chainstay on a modern XL mtb is a joke IMO. Especially for a frame that costs $4k.

I would love to see Dak with FW. I think there is a decent chance he heads to Intense. Honestly would love to see him leave Mondraker (no reason). I hope Specialize puts some female riders on the team. Pivot needs a serious refresh. I hope BK has a great season but even if he did they need more. Norco also needs a team refresh too. Would love to see them pick up a 10 top male. Also - I was at Placid, it was great. Watched the reply and I thought it was the worst filming of the year...

My single biggest source of pure annoyance isn’t the equipment — it’s the protagonist.

Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

Also saw this last night: https://www.bicycleretailer.com/industry-news/2025/10/08/peopleforbikes… Didn't have a bike industry pro-tariff stance in the cards. Protectionism at it's best- save one company for the industry to crater.

The holes let oil up to the upper bushing… those are already on current 38 boxxer. Someone patented the channel around the bushings. I’m sure fatigue is been calculated and tested. RS didn’t mess around with fatigue. Also curious how they’re making the dimples.

Sometimes they host masters the year before as a test event. I want to go race. I’ll be racing age 45? 🤦 Edit: just looked, Chile is hosting masters worlds 2026/2027, so maybe not headed to Durango. Or maybe that means Chile is looking to host a WC sooner or later?

Thanks. I would caution against using LLMs to write code, unless you're already an experienced programmer and/or don't care about security. The photo editing job sounds like a Photoshop (edit: other image editing software is available!) batch which, I suppose that's technically "AI" in the sense that there's no such thing as true AI so every computer automated task has been described as "AI" by someone at some point...

Frankly no I don’t think even Bruni was groomed to the same level as Jackson. Jackson was putting out edits with the likes of Stevie Smith since he was 10 years old. He probably doesn’t even remember a time in his life when he wasn’t a sponsored athlete. If you go back and watch any of the early Lapierre team videos you can see young Bruni was completely star struck as a junior. He couldn’t believe he was on a team with his idol Blenkinsopp. Very different vibe to Jackson. As for finish line celebrations, nobody wants to see bitter...

Maybe it was when he was podium his first year & being a dork getting involved in the winner's celebration a little too much. 😆 Seems like it was Bruni or something? Sort of a WWE style pointing & exaggerated hand motions. I remember someone cracking a "home schooler" behavior joke about it in the chat. I like the kid. Insane talent but him winning sucks but only cause I'm a USA homer!

Wasn't the Super-Bruni thing a joke a fan came up with a few years ago? I know Loic has said he leans into it for world champs weekend to try to get into an unbeatable headspace. Virtually every interview I have seen of him makes him seem like a good dude. Anyway, before talking up Jackson 4x gold titles etc, I'm seriously wondering if the Alran brothers arn't going to lock down every race next year. All the Commencal elites have been saying they can't believe the speed and lines their juniors are pulling off, and apparently they only get...

So barrier to entry for an actual e-dirt bike and not a glorified e-fiddy is ~10k. I think you should have a serious look at them when you are thinking that the Ultra Bee is not a proper dirt bike. 12.5 kW, 400+ Nm torque in a smaller and 80 pounds lighter chassis than a Stark. If you think they are not a proper dirt bike, then e.g. a KLX230 is also not. Stark Vark is more like a KX450.

I agree. I wouldn’t listen to a single song Sleeper has used on my own, BUT, they’ve all worked great in the edits. Edits are also a demonstration of the production’s team art and vision. Constantly nagging on music choice is a criticism of this and gets old.

the live stream is recorded to the final broadcasters internal system, so any weird things you see in the live show will be on the replay. they won't take the time to upload their local recordings unless something major bad happened. export and upload would take too long, they gotta show to wrap.
