1/23/2024 1:08am Am I the only one who thinks waiting so long to announce this stuff has actually kind of taken the excitement out of it? I was pretty pumped after the new years but the excitement has kind of wore off now.

1/23/2024 1:07am holy crap, you've all made this year's rumor season so freaking fun and hilarious. was hard to believe #cappucinoMachineGate could be topped but now #frecklegate has set a new bar. i'd be kinda scared if i was an athlete making team switches next year LOL

1/23/2024 1:06am Wasn’t it the same with Jack Moir last year? Also filmed by a rider while “secretly” testing in finale.

1/19/2024 1:01pm The new mondraker team is going to be fine. they have good suspensions (fox), good tires (maxxis), good geometry (proto bike has adjustment), lots of team support and staff. They have a race engineer and I’m sure they can modify the bike if needed. if the bikes antisquat is slightly off that is not going to ruin someone’s career.

1/19/2024 1:00pm But it is the Buldog issue. After the injury he changed, understandably. From top 20 guy to not qualified, its pretty sure its mostly riders fault.(injury, mindset, preparation...)

1/19/2024 12:55pm The linkage itself is VERY sensitive to adjustments. They could be using a set of different upper links with a few different progression ranges. Alternatively they might have some chip inserts for that same link. I say that link specifically because the point where the dogbone connects has a big influence on the progression AND you can't see the side of it anywhere because it's hidden by the seatmast. FWIW on a factory team I would just have separate links rather than messing about with chips. You can see an example of moving that point on the link below highlighted...

1/18/2024 4:54pm Some riders adapt to a bike more than wanting the bike to adapt to them. They seem to get focused more on changing the bike as they get older (more experience of what they want). Younger guys are happy to have support and just push through. I think some riders over think it and some riding styles don't mesh with certain designs/suspension kinematics. I really believe that there isn't any "bad" bike on the W.C. circuit, just some more suited based on riding style. "Find your perfect match"

1/16/2024 8:13pm If you wait a year Trans-X will more than likely offer the same posts for a better price... Trans-X is to One-UP as SR-Suntour is to DVO. ^^ Did I use that phrase correctly? ^^ haha

1/16/2024 8:12pm Holy shit it's £292 in the UK (not inc remote)! That is not cheap. For another £10 I can get a Bikeyoke Revive 2.0 before I've even looked properly. I've got a V2 and am so tired of cleaning it out after every other winter ride, so this V3 had better be exceptional to convince me to spend that much money.
