1/9/2025 5:01am They've been doing the GORP program for a while, and they've had some cycling-related startups come through it. Natural State Carbon Repair (name says it all) is in current cohort I believe. My favorite is Gnargo Cargo Bikes, which are just awesome. They upcycle old bike frames into sweet cargo e-bikes.

1/6/2025 9:30am Be nice. Also, you have to remember that development is secret and maybe he doesn't want to put that XXX brand is making a USD fork as they will know he is the one who leaked it, as potentially only a handful of people currently know.

1/3/2025 9:09am My mind is just blown at all of the Americans that think the economy is bad, and gas is expensive. I just don't get it. We are the economic envy of the entire planet by a HUGE margin and our economy is just insanely good. To top it off, I made more on my 401Ks last year than I did at my job and my side business, and neither is low paying.

1/3/2025 9:08am Your economy doesn't need to be turned around. It's the most successful in the world by an insane margin. Americans are so much richer than the rest of the world it's nuts. Your problems are lack of social policy, not lack of economic activity. From The Economists reporting China themselves are getting annoyed at the offshoring of their companies to skirt tariffs as well, as it means no manufacturing jobs for the Chinese workers and instead the factory owners get richer by setting up new factories in Vietnam etc. They're predicting a mild crackdown on it in the new year...

1/3/2025 9:08am Thanks for the kind words. Sincerely appreciated. I also wanted to thank everyone who has taken time to particpate in this thread. In a world full of internet dumpster fires, trolling, dunking and devolving online discussions, at minimum I've found the willingness of the collective to have a meaningful, fun, civil discussion to be worthwhile in and of itself, regardless of how right or wrong we all may be. I don't know much, but I know the more this happens, the better off it appears we all are. HNY everyone! Cheers and thanks!

12/26/2024 1:41pm Knockoff how exactly? Because it has 2 chain pulley wheels? Because it has a lower cage that extends and takes up chain slack and is spring loaded and clutch damped? Because it makes the chain go up and down the cassette? Because it attaches to a rear derailleur hanger? This has to be one of the weakest "It's just a cheap Chinese knockoff" accusations I have ever seen. About the only thing it shares with SRAM is it's wireless, and so when Shimano finally steps up to the plate in 2025 with their true 100% wireless rear derailleur, I guess...

12/17/2024 2:09pm Not sure what bikeyoke models you've worked on but I find them a dream to rebuild - the devine (?) post without an IFP is so simple inside it makes a real mockery of all the brands that use an IFP but have terrible reliability. Personally I think everyone should be copying them (but at least pay for a post if you are going to do that!) Seriously as great of an invention the dropper post is, they are still far from perfect and Bikeyoke proved it doesn't need to be as complicated as others have made out As for...

12/17/2024 2:06pm There not any allegations in his post, at least none regarding OG. Merely that they said they have not wanted to move forward with any of the prototypes that have been tested so far.
