1/23/2026 7:47pm Hey Cam, when you ask "where should it go?" I wonder if it needs to go anywhere? It seems like the format you're hosting is popular and working great. Yeah, I get that Saturday race days are tricky for a lot of people, but if the Cascadia Dirt Cup is selling out on most race weekends... it seems like you've found an audience who that format is working for. When I was racing, I always loved Saturday race days at the CDC because it meant I wasn't getting home at midnight on a Sunday night if I had work on...

1/23/2026 7:42pm Practice day on Saturday. Race on Sunday. Having the races on Saturday means you have to take off work at least all of Friday unless you know the course. So if you want to make it more accessible, or encourage people to travel to new places, not having to take days off work is a great place to start.

1/23/2026 7:41pm If you want to build a base of riders who love Enduro it's clearly time for a miniduro. Limit the races to half the distance or less with half the climbing or less 12.5 miles, 2-2.5k elevation. For a little more action and condensed spectating and celebrating also have a hill climb competition or two mixed in, find a section of trail that is unclimbable, give points to the top 3 riders who make it the farthest, no dabs, no trials hops, no break in pedaling for over 5 seconds.

1/23/2026 1:59am Okay full disclosure you know what?—I rode Cuesta grade today after a while and it was worth it. Put it on the list next to MdO. It’s all green and wild and the trails are hilarious: there’s a layer of loose coffee mugs on top of encrusted space heaters…reminds me of driving an old truck with a speed wobble that gets worse and worse until boom you break through the sound barrier and it becomes somehow kind of smooth. I truly cannot imagine being introduced to mountain biking here and sticking with it 😆 So yeah, I’m in a way...

1/20/2026 12:18pm Thank god. I was shopping for bars and stems but just didn’t feel like there were enough options. This might just be the perfect one.

1/17/2026 7:08pm Bruh, we got soooo much new stuff coming this year, y'all better hold onto yer butts! Not sure why @RiderMikeCheck1 keeps calling one of the new-news the DHF2, though. That ain't it and it's a substantially different tire than the HR. However, he is right that a lot of people are gonna like it! Stoked to see more folks trying out the HR in some varying conditions. I think your point about wanting help from your tires when things aren't ideal is so spot on. Personally, I rode our more open treads like the DHF/DHR than the Assegai prior to...

1/17/2026 6:59pm Things are moving. For the initial public release, we're going all-in on grassroots racing, the "Strava-like" activity tracking pirate ship will come later. From my point of view, grassroots racing is where the gap (and my passion) is, and it's where we can deliver something genuinely better from day one. The upside: Garmin integration ships with iOS/Android/web app launch. If we see the traction we're expecting, we can build all sorts of cool activity tracking stuff, but it just doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to start with that. Happy to answer questions. Cheers

1/15/2026 11:22pm The power on Mavens is incredible, i’ve never ridden a brake with so much power available. That said, they’re coming off my DH bike because mine refuse to be consistent for more than half a day. They’ve been worked on by myself and two different shops. They seem plagued by wandering bite points and pump up regardless of piston massages or hocus pocus bleeding rituals. Nothing kills your flow on trail like a lack of confidence in your brakes. Hopefully (pun intended) my new GR4’s will be better. They seem to have improved my main complaint from the V4.

1/13/2026 10:19am Although the PFR team looks more relaxed than other factory teams, it does not make them a bad team. Sure, it is not a big factory team with a big budget, but they have their system that works for them and had some pretty good seasons in the past - 2023 and 2024 were pretty good. I think the addition of Dylan and a fired up Roger Viera is going to elevate this team and make them more competitive. Dylan is going to do great at PFR!

1/12/2026 7:53pm I've said this many times in these forums. DH has not really scratched the surface with aero, and those who do will reap major rewards given how close times have gotten. I think it is overlooked that (I think it was) Neko who said in an interview that his teammembers had to train in their Speedsuits because it was that much faster than normal kit. Their braking points would get all messed up if they trained all sessions in normal kit, then put on the Speedsuit for race day. Jackson is without a doubt one of the most skilled on...

1/12/2026 12:23pm This is nuts for so many reasons. Mad skills! Scary possibilities. Disturbing to some extent. Would it prefer 29" wheels or a mullet setup? 26 for life? 20?? https://unofficialnetworks.com/2026/01/12/this-robot-bicycle-has-a-bunn…

1/12/2026 12:07pm Hey there Vital friend. Sorry for my bad tone last night. It’s cool of you to say that. I’m a dad, and Greenland’s story is close to my heart, so I overreacted when I wrote my post. This very good little film is why I know about Laurie’s struggles growing up. The Anthill guys made it, and it’s a great watch. ✌🏻

1/12/2026 9:40am Aero will come. There is so much aero to be gained on a DH bike. Crying foul over the Fox speed suits is pretty silly, seeing how tight kits have gotten over the years. They just did it better than everyone else. Someone will probably think body armour is creating poor aero profiles under tight jerseys and start sculpting those too. I'm waiting for someone to find a way around the moto visor rule or try to reshape one in order to find some aero gain that is surely there. Style before tenths of a second! It's such a shame...
