I don't think anyone realized there is a market for such a bike, because there just might not be one! A 130mm ebike is already really niche, but if I had a lot of money and space I would consider one as a 2nd ebike. But that thing would have to be light and affordable, which most likely is not...

My enduro bike was 465mm, I think this is the best fit for me at 178cm/5'10. Similarly, to you I have trouble finding bked with this reach. My last ebike was 455 reach, but very slack headangle (62.8), so I was able to run a 45mm stem rather than my usual 40mm with no change in steering feeling. Went up...

I've had reasonable success using standard self-vulcanising patches on the inside of tubeless tyres

I put a 190mm Zeb ultimate 3.1 on my (170mm stock) ebike, I mostly did it to raise the front/BB and came into it knowing that 190mm was hard to reach. In my experience, my go to "pretty stiff" settings result in mostly 170-180mm of travel being used (~70psi for 80kg rider on a 24kg bike). Over last summer going...

Shimano e8000 on a 2018 Meta power: Motor replaced at 10,000 km and 4 years, €1000 out of pocket, replaced the lower battery terminal/connectors also. Giant/Yamaha: 2 years and 4,000km no issues at all, sold. Great motor just a bit less efficient than a Bosch and less powerful and overheated in Summer on long climbs. Bosch Gen 5: 1 year...

Pretty sure it's a joke, mocking the NST tour that happened down there for holding an event, and delaying results and media coverage.

Yes, our warranty is transferable. Better yet, if you have a PUSH product that is out of warranty, or are looking to buy one, we have our Warranty Reset Program. Simply have any PUSH fork or shock serviced at our HQ or one of our many global and domestic Authorized Service Centers. Upon completion of service, your product warranty is renewed for another year, even if it was out of warranty when you sent it in.

Don't feel bad, it wasn't just that generation of Meta. Or just that model of Commencal. Lol.

Came to say the same thing. Sam is a legend, however he is pretty quiet on the socials, does the odd race, man of few words, isnt proactively chasing media and doing the moto life with his sons. Not really what a brand would be looking for in an ambassador.

Also the gen3 could be built up as a proper enduro bike or very lightweight at the time. Most of us were wondering just how much lighter the next gen would be, answer over 1kg heavier. Also the only thing stopping many of us from getting a gen3 was the Brose reliability, so staying with Brose is huge turn off...

What a nightmare for Oisin to have bouncing around in the back of his mind. Am I gonna be holding another empty bag at the end of the season? I hope that his contract states something about "I get paid wages in full for the full season up front and bonuses are due even if sponsors go insolvent" just as a reaction to the YT debacle. ...but it's pretty tough to be that demanding when you're unemployed and looking for anyone who will take you racing the following year!

Are you trying to say that dudes who ride dropbars offroad don't understand comfort, performance and technology? What a surprise! (I am actually in favour of gravel biking and know some hardcore roadies that ride gravel for very good reasons...)

This bike is 18.1kg in a size L. The HPR60 is only 800g heavier so it would still be sub 20kg with the HPR60 (if sticking with the 290wh battery). It would probably still be sub 20kg with the 360wh battery too. To me for the sake of 800g it would have made more sense to spec the HPR60.

So the pinkbike review of the Rallon RS added another significant wrinkle to the equation. Apparently to get the weight of the motor down, it is missing a clutch, which leads to massive pedal kickback feeling when the motor engages on rolling terrain. Orbea has some system in place to minimise this based on various sensors, but apparently you are...
