Because one guy has 12k in his bank account and is ok losing 6k per year. The other guy probably is already in negative equity and thinks he can cover a few extra hundred a month. When you buy a car, you have insurance and you hope that if you take care of it you will get a large part...

I know I'm repeating common talking points that have been said over and over for years. But every so often it hits me, as I don't really follow regular mtb pricing too much anymore. But when I saw the tallboy release the other day, and it is a beautiful bike, all I could think was "How could anyone consider the...

Its just a 3d printed concept at the moment.

(That frame colour is in the running for "most likely to age poorly", once a season of mud, dirt, scratches and sun take their toll.) edited comment: it's just a 3d print Doesn't really look slimmer to me though, that the only knock against the velduro, aside from the name of course but Avinox bikes have really gone out of...

Just a few more years until I announce my unretirement for enduro, once all the pros have retired and it's just a couple of other washed out dads at the starting line.

The one we've all been waiting for, the first Vital RAW of the World Cup season is here, and it's a good one! Thanks to John Lawlor for the epic hustle getting this one to us so quickly. Healing vibes to Lou Fergusson who crashed on the big step down, and spare a thought for the wheel builders who have their work cut out for them after half the field cased it as well. https://www.vitalmtb.com/videos/features/south-korea-vital-raw-world-cu….

Nice, feels weird only having 7 riders instead of 15 like most rounds last year So as per the podcast, the cuttoff is before any qualies this year/round right?

Somehow the frame looks visually nicer with 170mm of suspension, but when you see $9k for a new 25kg carbon ebike, it just doesn't feel like you are getting your money's worth. (I know spesh have amazing customer care etc)

Personally, I would say especially with the 2 new frames: Yes, Amflow is definitely competing even with the Boutique brands. I've seen the PX in person yesterday, beautiful frame, better looking than virtually every other full power bike and competing with the SLs. At 7k if I were looking for a 20-21kg trail bike it would be pretty high up...

Feel like the orbea might be the banger from the lot (absolutely no info but i saw a rallon in person last week and my jaw hit the floor). Hard for me to not just grab an AMflow PR and upgrade as i go. €4500 for a full carbon bike with ok specs and geo adjustment is incredible...
This forum is for discussing anything related to the Avinox M2S and M2 drive systems. Feel free to ask questions, leave helpful tips for setup/tuning/service, or provide notes about how the motor has performed for you. Avinox debuted its M1 drive unit with its own AmFlow bikes in 2024. The M2S and M2 drive systems take things up a notch, offering more power, less noise, more efficiency, and similar weight. The systems are also being specced on an increasing number of bikes (list below!). Key Updates ▪️ Increased power: - M2 - 1100W and 110 Nm of continuous power |...

I have 4 pairs of decathlon hiking pants that cost €30 each. They are lighter than a fox flexair, have 4 zippered pockets and are extremely stretchy. I can have a phone in one pocket, snacks in another, car keys in another and still have a spare pocket. I do bug rides all year long and haven't worn a backpack...

From my point of view: 150Nm is going to wreck drivetrains and 1000W is going to empty batteries at a ridiculous rate. I'm most likely upgrading to Avinox next month, but mostly with the expectation to have a much lighter system (new 700Wh battery, effectively confirmed) or much higher range (940wh battery, no leaks but feasible). I'll mostly ride in...
