Hopefully that Neuron is foreshadowing updates to the spectral 29 (super short chainstay), but both are way too XC currently, if Canyon lengthens and slackens them out up front they would have some sweet trail bikes.

6/23/2016 4:12am I love riding with 2-3 others around my level, problem is more and more i find those guys invite some less fit or less fast guys, which becomes pretty annoying just because you end up riding less in one outing, and there is always one guy who needs to leave early, or one guy who gets a mechanical etc... 5/3/2016 6:47am France: only seen 1 and it was a test bike from a shop (stumpjumper 6fattie), but a local kid raced it in the first enduro race of the year and placed really well on it. As mentioned in a previous topic: we are slowly getting overrun with E-bikes however...

Also, by having a whistler every 10-20s of the track the marshals can identify if and where a rider crashed more easily to help them or stop the race.

Out here in France these things are being aggressively marketed towards all of the MTB community, a bunch of top enduro riders in the masters class have switched over even though they would still win their category on regular bikes. Bruni and Vergier were on these all last winter. So yes, fast guys are using them and being marketed to and the feedback is very positive from them (double your descending for the same effort and time as on a regular bike). For now, it seems it is mostly sponsored riders, but it probably will catch on, for better or...

12/1/2015 7:24am I think you needed to make your own mix as the Slime sealant is so bad. Notubes' sealant is incomparably better, almost always seals any hole smaller than a 1/2cm, whereas Slime cant fix a thorn hole or valve leak... In my experience: Go full ghetto with a BMX tube on cheap rims. Specialized's tubeless rim tape is incredibly cheap...

8/28/2015 6:57am Yes those are Loic and Loris's dads: Jean Pierre Bruni and Claude Vergier. Bruni Sr got gold already in 2013 and silver in 2014. All of them ride Lapierres, I guess it is like the Atherton package

So now, obviously, all I can think of is the correlation between time featured in VitalRaw practice vids and finals results. It's the next logical analysis after TT and qualis from the last weeks
