I have the same wear experience with the kryptotal fr supersoft on the front. Conti officially states it's a single compound, but my observation matches yours, that it wears quickly and then... doesn't. I don't know how to explain that if it's not a firmer compound with a softer on top. If I raced, or regularly rode in wet conditions, I'd keep riding supersoft. Since I don't race and ride dry conditions, I prefer soft as it's enough grip and much better wear even on the front. (I've never used a Conti supersoft rear.)

Does anyone have any rumors on an Avinox bottle sized range extender? I can't imagine they're content with strapping an entire battery to the downtube and calling it a range extender. Seems like they could do a 300wh one in a decent form factor or maybe even a 200wh that isn't annoying to lug around on your back? The range extender question is the last hurdle for me to want an Avinox bike with an integrated battery. 8/19/2026 12:07pm Any comparison to the PR coming up? It's the same geo and kinematics so can't be that different right? For the battery position, I think that argument is less important these days as 800Wh batteries have lost around 800g since the previous gen and the 700Wh in the PX is only just over 3kg.

Just published our Amflow PX Carbon Pro review - https://www.vitalmtb.com/product/guide/e-bikes/amflow/px-77641#comment-… TLDR: I would buy the cheaper PX Carbon and buy better suspension second-hand on marketplace, and romp it for a long time. The bike was super capable and fun to ride, it's light, the motor/range/tunability/interface is great, and all the geo adjustments make it quite adaptable.
