4/23/2025 1:29am Nice, found the 27.5x2.5 maxterra! Added it to me shopping list once the brand new kryptotal soft I put on wears out, that tyre basically lasted forever out front with decent grip!

4/22/2025 11:16am DH casing hard compound rear tyre Light pants with a tiny d3o layer, or even just multiple layers of soft material over the knee to prevent scratches. I'm convinced this can work, despite trying to build my own version which is not very comfortable or protective...

4/16/2025 1:14am I'm here to bitch about low BBs, why the f..k are manufacturers making 160mm+ travel bikes with 330mm BBs, and worst of all publishing geo charts where they claim the bikes are 1cm higher than they end up being. I have a theory that designers test mullets vs full 29ers and realise they need to make the BB dangerously low...

3/19/2025 1:31am Sometimes Vital contributor Brian Cahal has a really good shootout series on some recently released ebikes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SqLuZlrmGI&t=88s It's nice that they only got "good" ebikes and are able to articulate really well the difference between each of them. Somewhat surprised at how positive they are about the Mondraker, seems the design team did a great job.
