Don't you need to remove the rear wheel anyways to swap rotors?

We have entered the part of silly season where people float (and debate!) wild speculation that a 42 year old Dan Atherton returns to downhill (last result was 57th at Crankworx in 2018) on a new rubber band bike to chase a $100k podium. Perhaps we need an award for most ridiculous rumor every year. 🤣🤣🤣

" I’m so grateful for the people at Clif that kept the athlete program going for as long as they could" This line kind of tells that maybe everyone has been dropped, including Rheeder.

Looks to me like 424 goes through 428 and then thread into either the frame or a set of removable threads in the frame in location 426. That is how they plan to mount the front end of the mount to the bike.

I guess that means the awful drawn-by-a-child aesthetic is continuing into 2025. Really hoped that would not be the case.

The XT crankset is a good candidate for durability but they can still suffer from sheared spindles. I would put Race Face Turbines above XTs for winning a durability contest. The Shimano BB is leaps and bounds better than the 30mm RF one though. Same goes for Saint vs. Atlas cranksets.

It seems that the higher speeds facilitated by flow trails could likely result in more severe injuries. I guess that's why I like to ride steep, technical trails where there's quite a thrill, but the speeds are low enough that the risk is reduced.
