Looks like a photoshop job to me. The linkages don't make sense at all. That's a Fox fender on a RS fork. The really slack seat angle looks like it was from 1-2 generations back.

i dont understand the whole cushcore/dh tires thing, ive run exo+ and maybe DD in extreme cases(w/o cushcore) and i havnt flatted in over 3 years. If i go casual riding i have to run EXO+ or the bike is a dog to ride - maybe i run proper pressure and have no issues??

I don’t post post much here but this is a subject I have a bit of experience with. For the past 3 years in a row I climbed over 750,000 feet each year and about 3000 miles each year so I have put a fair bit of hurt on components and bikes. Maybe the most absurd thing I've ever seen. I'm not against small batch, boutique parts, but anyone spending that money on something so frivilous needs to be audited and forced into buying food for the needy or something.

After ordering the bike a few weeks ago, finally found a couple evenings to get it put together! I ended up ordering an "open box" model, which was $300 off MSRP, and everything was in perfect condition when it arrived. Assembly was pretty straight forward, as it was mostly just bolting on the wheels, bars, attaching the derailleur, and adjusting controls. Fit and finish on everything was really nice. Sorry, but who is paying Commencal to use headset cable routing? Big headset? Local bike shops to charge more for servicing? Total garbage lol. Its done for looks to the average joe, and its cheaper production.
