I want to take a moment to thank Darren from Push, who has a small business to run, for taking time to weigh in and educate mouth breathers like me about what's happening inside our suspension stuff that goes up-and-down. I've learned a ton from reading so far. Thanks, Darren!

Damn, that was real quick. Love the "aghhh" when he crosses the line and hears he's in second. Think it's gonna be a good year for team Intense.

Just got a couple of new shots of Dak's bike from Windrock as it hangs in the stand. Not sure how different it is (if at all) compared to what we've seen before. Any thoughts? (Figure I'd do a separate post instead of have it buried in the tech rumors forum)

My best guess would be that rather than having a different controller for the dropper and shifter, they are using identical controllers that are interchangeable and mountable on either side of the Handlebar. That way they only have to manufacture 1 controller. I also heard rumors that they are going to make the 2nd button on the dropper controller able to control the modes of Flight Attendant without taking your hands off the bars.

I can’t be the only dork on here that sees this, and wonders when we’re getting dropper posts that drop without sitting on them…?

As far as I know, YT has embraced a Mob Mentality (SWIDT?) and allows independent component and perhaps clothing sponsors.

Windrock is unreal. We were there for the Enduro. On Thursday, I saw Gwin, Pinkerton, Luca Shaw, Dak, Frida, and Grice in the shuttle line. That area is really becoming the epicenter of the DH scene.. and for good reason.

If an Aussie or Kiwi won a round in Europe, the money wouldn't cover the flight home lol

To be honest I noticed the TRP stuff much more than if it was released a week ago. A week ago it would have been 'nice, I wonder what Sram will put out'. Now it's like 'TF is Sram smoking with these prices and features, TRP looks like an utter win compared to this'.

Hey all... I fancy myself a suspension technology nerd but I believe that I (like most) understand just enough of it to be dangerous. I've envisioned a general suspension technology thread on this forum for quite some time. The point of this thread (as I have it envisioned at least) would be to discuss theories, past products/engineering and of course, new stuff. Think of it as a place to discuss things such as: -Discussing the impact/theory of mid valves and base-valves in forks -Poppet valves vs shimmed compression valves -Oil paths in certain shock architectures and what it means for...

haha yeah Pulp is number one for podcasts and fantasy but anytime he speaks MTB you can almost guarantee its going to be about the Tazer. I believe its just an alloy version of the Tazer MX through WPS dealers
