Got some reactions following todays Q2 session here.

I'm at Leogang this weekend and wanted to get a sense of how widely pedal kickback devices have been adopted by World Cuppers, along with all the other wild accessories like TMD's/shakeweights, electronics, gearboxes, and more. I'm a little surprised at the cost of the new Shimano drivetrain. I would consider it to replace my XO1 AXS shifter and derailleur (and move that to another bike) that I've been running with an XT chain and cassette. Almost $1,000 for shifter and derailleur is higher than I was expecting.

I truly thought Myriam had that course on lock. And obviously, in a way, she did. And that's a fairly pricey pick to have go down and not bring in points. Luckily I did still have the winner and what a points payout she was. Legend! The Canada 1-1 is more rewarding to me than any fantasy points pay out. So sick. And for this reason why Troy often runs a 220mm rotor in the rear but a normal 200mm up front. Rear brake is consistently "on" far more than the front.

what's on henry kerr's gamux (from Q2 loudenvielle after he crashed...thankfully he's ok b/c w/ his OTB crash, it'd be easy to say "ejector seat?" external resevoir for rear brake? ABS type thing?

XTR is going to replace Saint brakes in my opinion and they really wanted to position it as more different product probably with actual extra features which is problem of the current line up where its just a badge, name and maybe some slight updates but nothing setting them truly apart besides the price.

I suppose the sad thing is we as an online forum have seemed to put more effort into figuring out what the fcuk is going on with the course marking... Than UCI officials put into marking the course intelligently and intuitively in the first place. Somebody who knows someone tell UCI to paint 'jump markers' pink (or red... or literally any other color than the same one used to mark the course boundary).

I was an engineer on Felt's 6-bar link bikes and found it to be an immense PITA to work with. I don't feel it offers any advantages over other multilinks, different but not better. The extra parts inevitably weigh more, flex more, cost more, and present more opportunities for failure. Though it is possible to make good bikes with a 6-bar link, the experience motivated me to develop the most minimal multilink suspension I could devise.

I love this. For ages brands were saying their Enduro bikes were DH bikes you could pedal, but nobody put their money where their mouth was until recently!

That is the Shimano STEPS eBike only Di2 derailleur, been around for quite a while but not much media on it
