5/20/2025 11:10am I'm completely on-board for that. Maybe the bike has to be cleaned by a 3rd party so no changes can be made? Maybe the rider has to do it? Or maybe that's the metaphorical (and literal) weight on the other side of the scale of justice? Maybe a rider can take a reride with all the new knowledge from getting a run at the track but they're also stuck with any disadvantages that could come from that first look. What I'm trying to come up with is a way to make sure there is no extra advantage to the rerun...

5/20/2025 11:08am Maybe the UCI needs to adopt a "if re-run is necessary, the splits completed in the scheduled run before the position of the significant impedence necessitating the rerun will be used." Tough sentence to parse. Meaning the splits before the running baffoon incident from her first ride would be used and then the splits including the impeded split will be taken from the second ride. That would at least not give the rider the significant advantage of a do-over after having had a crash. That way they can't gain as much of an unfair advantage from having ridden the course...

5/19/2025 10:15am Looking at points & timing, she was nine seconds back from 12th place & 3 seconds back from Blewitt in 13th. So if he hadn't been there, she might would have eclipsed Blewitt only. Worth 5 points in the overall. Sucks but doubt the guy hung her up 9 seconds. Finals Points 12th - Bouladou - 44 pts 13th - Blewitt - 40 pts 14th - Harddon - 35 pts

5/19/2025 9:13am I get the UCI decision. Otherwise, your team could literally put a plan in place that if you fall, you have a random dog walker let the leash out if they get a call your rider fell up the hill. Wait for the signal, walk a pooch on course. Rider comes to a dead stop. Re-Run.

5/18/2025 9:24am UPDATE - the standings results page show accurate points that match UCI rulebook, so those will be used (48, 44, 40, 35, 30).

5/17/2025 8:16am I would guess that since there is a higher max speed in DH, any aero gains are more significant than in running, plus the rider is on their own not in a pack so the aerodynamics of the rider should be more consistent. Rider comfort and rider position on the bike are probably more important factors in outright speed, but the onesie will likely have a positive impact if the rider is happy to wear it.

5/17/2025 8:14am The hourglass design on that kit is a big fail. One of those things where it looked great on the computer screen. Then when the riders put it on it's a different story... Haha. The curved hourglass makes everyone look like Umpa Loompas with massive thighs/quads. Lol. Laurie probaby said "F that, I ain't wearing it" hahah

5/16/2025 2:32pm This has got to be the worst looking kit in existence. Who thought that accentuating Goldstone’s hips would look good? Got to be the exact same design as Tahnee’s been wearing

5/16/2025 9:42am The thing is, not failing is pretty low goal to strive for isn't it? Because there is absolutely no performance benefit in this orientation whatsoever. Only benefit is free advertising from us talking about most likely soon to be released brake.

5/16/2025 9:35am I've been on an EMTB since fall, I've gotten used to and prefer the added weight in the BB area. Now with the parks opening I'd love to add weight to my park bike in the same area. Not the weight difference between the 2 bikes but enough to feel the lower, higher mass. A clean, easy way to do that would be great. On the flip side, I wouldn't want that weight on anything I gotta pedal as it's really only going to benefit you when pointed down.
