Oh I was literally joking. There's ZERO chance viewers have any say on this. You think Gee would give a flying fuck? From what I heard the reason it's not happening is a) they couldn't get a decent netting solution up in time and b) sounds like they ran against a timeframe to actually fix the jumps. I'd even be convinced they didn't think the fix was feasible. From what I can see the reason the transition is so tight is just literally physical space. Could mellow the lip, but you still have a G out issue on the run...

When those jumps first came out, I thought, “Oof, maybe it’s just the angle that makes it look so bad?” Now I’m firmly in the territory of, “Fuck that shit, I have no interest in watching the event now.” I’m fine watching pros hit xxl features that are built well (Rampage or Dark Fest for example), but I’m not down with watching someone get bucked to their death on a feature that looks like it was drawn out by a child that drank one too many energy drinks.

How else will they show full runs, if the gaps between riders are not 4-5 minutes. Most tracks are 3:30 or longer for elite men. In poland, the gaps for last eight men were 4:30, 3:30 for others and 2 mins for the first starters in finals. There were no five minute gaps, certainly not for every rider. I think the issue is with lack of feeder series, which at least in the US seems to be growing. I just dont think the best way to get to the top of the sport is to try to qualify for the premier elite class for 5 years until you are good enough to qualify. You could have qualifiers. For example: Top 10 amateur's at the windrock national in their respective class earn the opportunity to qualify at a world cup or something to that effect basically.
